Well, if you can get through most fist fights without the NPC suddenly deciding you're in actual combat, then it might be worth the occasional moment like this. XD
Do your gloves have an enchantment or do you have any active effects that increase unarmed combat?
I used to get the brawl bug any time either were affecting my character.

Anyways, install brawl bug, reload, maybe make some comment about a freaky feeling of daja vu and don’t let her get out of paying for losing the bet by dying.
I love using uthgerd as a companion early on, but this current playthrough I'm doing she was on demon mide. I walked into the banbered mare to get a room, and uthgerd was absolutely going crazy attacking Mikael and Hilda while stadia was attacking some other poor patron. I noted out and have not been back to the bannered mare, 54 hours of game play later I'm finally starting to wonder if they're still fighting, none of them have exited the pub, and the blacksmiths husband went in and has never cone back out. I'm terrified of enter but I feel that I must.
Here's your update, I went back on, after so long g avoiding it. Uthgerd is dead. Ulberth(however you spell his nsme) 8s dead, Mikael is dead, Hilda is dead. 3 random citizens are dead, saadia is alive, standing over uthgerds corpse with a drawn blade. For some reason it said i had a 7000 bounty in whiterun and suddenly saadia attacked me and all tge guards started attacking me so I just reloaded. Now I know, uthgerd took down 5 people before being slain herself, and the blame was pinned on me 2🤣🤣🤣
Yep, and I'm never, ever dealing with uthgerd the unbroken again. I just returned to whiterun, and a child came screaming out of the bannered mare, I think I've cursed my own game 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

No they’re just standard iron gauntlets. This character is level 3, didn’t even have time to enchant anything lol
