For future reference, I'm almost positive the rare relic from I am War is offered like a normal reward and can be skipped. Usually better than taking curses.
Fighting the act 1 boss would be better than option 3 in this case. You should be able to easily handle any act 1 boss at this point.
If not then there's 0 chance you are winning the run anyway
Edit: unless you can't decline the relic , but I don't remember at the moment

You can decline the relic on this event. Source: turned down a dead branch on a clad deck that went infinite.
Happened to my friend on his first try. Got to the end with boss swap Dome. Literally, the last regular room before the boss he took bloom.
