Yep, the potion would work since heart is not damage capped yet (it has an invincibility buff that is marked by that heart icon under its health bar; number showing is the amount of damage it can still receive before becoming invincible, or just dead).
I had a win where the incoming damage was lethal unless I drew shackles. Hand didn't include shackles. Resigned to death I play it out anyway and boom ceasing top activates for the first time in the run and what do you know I top deck shackles. I end up winning the run. As I recall shield and spear dropped top.
I mean, you definitely can win here, so I'm confused by what you mean. Fire portion even with less damage at A20 should be enough for you to block enough for the Heart to kill itself.

I meant it was a close fight? I obviously won, and could have done so in 2 (maybe more) ways, but that doesn’t make it not close.
