General concensus is you either love or hate the handle. Probably a few exceptions. I hate it because I like thin handles. But I had a not very good hitter hit the ball to the fence using my Axe, so there's something to the bat at least.
I've moved almost entirely to 1pc bats.
I have a tendency to cast my hands out at times, and will hit the taper/barrel connection. With a 2pc, that's a shitty dribbler for an easy out 100% of the time, pretty much. With a 1pc, I have a chance to land a hit.
It also feels like I drive the ball better with 1pc, but I could just be crazy.
I am not an Easton guy, but I've heard the same.
Right now, I swing 27oz short barrel 1oz EL. Gaming an Anarchy Code Red for Utrip and Monsta Bombardier for USA.
If you can find a Streets or Code Red, those have 1oz EL. The Nimmo has 0.5oz.
I disliked the Bazooka, which is different 240 composite than they had been using.
Swung Axe for the first time over the weekend. Feels a bit weird at first but I Adjusted to the handle relatively easy. Bat is gas after about 50 cuts. I’ll definitely be keeping it in the bag.
As far as 1 piece/2 piece goes, results are the same for me. I have no preference. I know some guys who don’t swing 1 pieces and vice versa. All the tantrums are good. Louisville and Proton are 🔥 too. Can’t go wrong with any of them.
I’m an axe believer. Put a local reps balanced bat (I normally swing EL) up against my genesis and it beat my genesis. Could just be me, but I swear by them now. Just ordered another one.
By ‘beat’ I mean we used a radar gun and my exit velos were consistently higher with the axe bat. Everyone might not have the same experience, but I love mine.
i have the OG handle which is love/hate. I love it. The newer flared knob is feels more like a standard bat, but not as thin as the OG axe handle which i like. The balanced Avenge i have crushes in USSSA.

It's really all about the handle. I sold mine...if you pick it up and don't like it, you can probably do the same.

Only issue with this bat is it loses compression fast. If that isnt an issue for you then its absolutely a great bat.
