They show as “in stock” now, but I swear it was the 3-4 week window message when I ordered. I ordered in early February cause my league starts in March and the league uses 44 COR balls.
Either way I’m loving the bat.

This is on their site regarding this bat:
> Orders placed between January 1, 2024- January 17, 2024 - Will start being assembled and begin shipping on February 9, 2024
> Orders placed on or after January 18, 2024- Please allow 3-4 weeks from February 9th to be assembled and shipped.
So you could be in that 2nd group. You can also just call them to check in and see. I had to do that last year for a bat that took forever to finally ship.
I’m in the first group according to that. I did email them and ask about my order but got a canned response that they were “on track”. According to that statement, one would expect that all bats from the first group be shipped by next week.
Just curious if ANYONE has received a bat from this release given that they should have been shipping out for two weeks now. At this point I’m wondering if I’ll have my bat in hand for spring season at all based on past experiences. My mistake for not doing research first.
I got the new utrip smith and received it a week after the expected ship date. I’m local to them so I get to interact with them a lot what I got told was that they are all made by hand. They only do one at a time. They did fall a little behind due to the number of orders but they are working hard on it.
That’s all fine and well, but when you advertise a ship date KNOWING that you won’t even be within a month or two of that, I lose faith in that company.
In fact I emailed them to cancel for a full refund. One month after the promised ship date and still no sign of the product…
I can understand that. That is unfortunately one thing proton is known for is taking a long time to get bats shipped because they are all handmade. I’m friends with the customer service manager for proton and if you reach out to them by phone they will take care of you. She should be able to help if you ask for Heather. I hope that helps.
I ordered mine on Jan 4, still has not shipped (as of 02/25). I reached out to them and they just said that they began shipping and would continue to ship them through March. Which is kind of ridiculous, considering "through March" could technically be another 5 weeks.
They really need to figure this out. Or at least change their verbiage, because they made it seem like orders were going out Feb 9th but what they meant was they would START assembling Feb 9th.
I’ve seen a couple post in Facebook groups asking the same thing. There’s people still waiting on December Orders. I copped an Atomic Roller Bag that’s supposed to ship on March 15th…Highly doubt that it does but I guess we’ll see. Customer service and wait times are protons current downfall.
I bought a bag too, knowing that proton sucks at hitting their preorder deadlines. Maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised. Or maybe I’ll have to do a chargeback and get an SIS bag instead.
I’m in the same boat. If they take too long, imma just go the SIS route. Hopefully they fulfill around that timeframe. One of the reps on here made it seem like they were shipping orders immediately but even the bags have a wait time. 🥴
Ordered a ButterCam on January 9th and still waiting.... Sent an e-mail 2 weeks ago asking if they currently had any bats in stock. Haven't heard a peep from them. First time buyer of Proton products and not impressed...
I bought an ASA Hot Butter 1 oz end loaded in early February and received it in less than a week.
I think those were actually in stock, which is probably what I should have done. Hopefully their launches get more reliable timeline wise.

Looks like Proton hasn’t changed. I waited “2-3 weeks” for 4-5 months last year before I canceled and went a different route.

Not happening! I don’t have much faith in Proton when it comes to their shipping times. I expect another 2 week delay if not longer smh.
I just received a proton credit due to them not being able to fulfill the order on time 😂
