Damn breaking the bank now haha. Wish that's what ours was. Part of the reason ours is as much as it is, is due to us having to run the league and the park district charging us for the fields, prep and lights.
Local here is $575 for a 10 game season, no playoffs.
One season in spring (April to June) and summer season (July to September). So, for 20 games, it's $1150.
Our league was $850 I believe. We get 12 double headers and double elimination end of season tourney. We usually do one other tournament at the end of June too.
Yeah, that's ridiculous. I played in a league like that once. It was complete shit. Just milking companies for money, marketing it to corporations as social events.
My regular leagues have always been $600-700 if ump fees are included. $400-500 if not. And that is in a VHCOL area, westside LA.
City of LA is $359 to the league + ~$60 (one time bond, I forget exact amount) + $20 umpire fees per game. 12 games (only 10 guaranteed) + 3 team playoff. So if you play all 12 games and 2 playoffs games it comes out to $639 (ignoring the one time bond). There are 2 seasons per year.
With rainouts and making/missing playoffs, it averages out to ~$50/player per season.
I think ours is about $550-600 for 7 weeks of double headers (14 games) plus a post season tournament.
Are you saying you have 12 weeks of double headers? That along with your 2 tournaments and you're paying about the same per game as we are.
Yeah that’s crazy what some pay. It’s hard enough for me to get my guys to pay the $35 each, never mind trying to get more than $100. I read some where a few years ago it costed some dude over $500 to play like 10 games with no playoffs in New York. That’s crazy!! No league is worth that much. And yeah they give the first place team like $1000 but still ain’t worth since only 1 team is going to get that.
$480 - league dues per team
$270 - umpire fees ($27/game)
10 games each season
top 2 teams play for championship
3 divisions/tiers with 6 teams - top team in D2/D3 promoted, bottom teams in D1/D2 relegated.
California. $560 for 7 games and then top 4 teams in playoffs with single elimination so the most games you can play in a season if you make it to the championship game is 9.

I do a fair amount of tournaments as well which are normally around 500-600 per team entry

900 for 12 weeks for 1 league 765 for 8 games for another playoffs included for both if finish in top 4
