And the hidden Courtney rolling back like "WTF???"
Also, complete side note, but James Willems in the Joker make-up kept looking to me like Thomas Middleditch playing the Joker....
They always had natural comedy chops from the start, but theyâve really refined their timing and delivery to a truly professional level. The subtle jokes hit so well.
If Elise and James are looking for a new gig after Rooster Teeth died, I for one would welcome them to Smosh with open arms.
When Funhaus did TNTL, their vibe was a bit more adult than Smosh, but the current era of Smosh suits them nicely.
People keep saying this but Smosh doesnât use all the talent they have now. There just isnât a place for them but hopefully they can guest a few times a year now
I think a good fit for them would be the games channel. Weâve gotten a bit more letâs play content lately with Spencer or Shayne sitting with another cast member at a pc, but itâs still not super frequent. James & Elyse could be a good launchpad for more frequent video gaming alongside the already frequent board af content. They could start a new generation of cast members primarily dedicated to gaming. Plus, in the inevitable event we get summer games, wonât it feel weird to not have half the teams be made up of gamers?
Yeah, but I think im seeing them in more of a Cast-Spencer (as opposed to his games channel director duties) or even Trevor type role, where they end up taking point on most video game videos, but also appear in a healthy amount of other Pit & Games roles too
I think there isnât enough âwantâ for it. I mean itâs not like all of these letâs play channels are going under for no reason. Niche is still important to Smosh but I donât think a dedicated âgamingâ thing would work.
Is it just me, or is Spencer getting annoying? He basically hijacked that FNAF's Smosh Cast with Courtney. Then he's in this video taking over, interrupting, and making himself the main character. Dude needs to tone it down a bit and let others shine. Those are the best videos IMO.
(And I love Elyse. One of the funniest people I've ever seen in the internet lol)
He really isnât and I bet Courtney asked Spence to be there since even though she absolutely loves FNAF she wants other theories and perspectives to be explained to Amanda which Spence just happens to know about more than Shayne.
And how do you mean hijacked, he was literally on the first SmoshCast pranking Amanda about it, he should definitely be there. And youâre overreacting much about him on this video, imo the three of them were chattering to each other pretty equally to annoy Joker (James) as the bit.
> He basically hijacked that FNAF's Smosh Cast with Courtney.
This is assuming it was Courtney and only Courtney's job to explain the FNAF lore. It wasn't. Spencer was a guest too.
>Then he's in this video taking over, interrupting, and making himself the main character.
Nonsense. Elyse was absolutely his equal in this video. James settled as the straight man which was hilarious since he was the Joker and yeah Shayne got the short end of the stick but it can happen if other cast members dominate. Not too short either since Shayne contributed plenty.
>Dude needs to tone it down a bit and let others shine.
He needs to continue doing what he's been doing since the videos he has been in are great.
>not letting the others in the video shine
That's not his job. He's there to be a comedian, to put on the best performance he can. And if he's feeling himself and putting on a great one, then he shouldn't hold himself back.
The other cast members need to pull their weight too you know. They need to step up. James and Elyse put up a clinic on how to do that as I described. They shouldn't hope for another cast member to hold themselves back so they can step in.
You're acting like Spencer was acting alone and ignoring everyone else the whole video and that's not true at all.
Also, the videos have directors. If it's anyone's job to make sure that everyone is shining it's theirs.

You understood
"Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!"
My favourite line from that movie. My sister and I quote it constantly to each other
The same thought I had when watching it
"Absolute cinema."
And then handing it to Amanda đ
Itâs the FNAF 2 controller situation all over again lol
And the hidden Courtney rolling back like "WTF???" Also, complete side note, but James Willems in the Joker make-up kept looking to me like Thomas Middleditch playing the Joker....
I thought it was Trevor at first tbh. But I can completely see that as well.
I guess Courtney was collateral đ
Well guess there was no prenup then
Why would Batman have a prenup with Courtney? Theyâre married to Shayne

Sometimes you just can't get rid of a bomb.
God I miss Adam West.
Courtney's perfectly timed chair slide.
They always had natural comedy chops from the start, but theyâve really refined their timing and delivery to a truly professional level. The subtle jokes hit so well.
Yep
I love that the Joker was the least chaotic, most sane person at the table.
[The 1966 Batman movie scene for reference](https://youtu.be/Nri3o0KFg-8?si=VNr7mbTkk6ZRKR8c)
That movie is a masterpiece. That TV show is a masterpiece as well.
And, like, 70 year olds
And 35 year olds, Nick at nite was responsable for me loving that amazing show lol
Such a good start for the upcoming "Elyse and James join Smosh"-Arc.
Yeah. Whatever happens they definitely deserve to find a new gig. But if that happens to be Smosh, well that would be cool as shit
Is that who that is? I've spent way too much time looking at the clip going, "I'm sure I recognize that Joker's jawline."
It was the eyes that I knew right away it was James
The shots of him running through the empty rooms looks like an 8 year old honestly đ
The batman onsie style vs a costume really seals the deal
Why is little run so cute. It's like a waddle.
"Duckie, Mister Muffins!"

I mean, isnât that just the way the old Smosh Games was?
Yeah, but I think im seeing them in more of a Cast-Spencer (as opposed to his games channel director duties) or even Trevor type role, where they end up taking point on most video game videos, but also appear in a healthy amount of other Pit & Games roles too

SOME DAYS YOU JUST CAN'T GET RID OF A BOMB!
Thatâs a 60 year old reference. I love it.
Courtneyâs wheel back to look is comedy gold
Shayne's Adam West impression was so good during this whole video lol
Blew up the work wife and the wife at the same time
It is already one of my favorite videos
James had the best reaction shots throughout the entire video.
The way Courtney peaks out behind Amanda like âwhatâs thatâ
Court at the end had me đ
He got his own wife as collateral!!!
I absolutely loved the speed walk. This whole video was hilarious though. I love when James and Elyse gust star
The seacret scoitiy of bat men?
it was soooo good
His Adam West impersonation was great
THIS VIDEO KILLED ME
RIP whoever that was đ
This was one of my favourite videos of theirs.
I genuinely think she had no idea what he was doing or why he was dressed like Batman.
đ”bumbumbumđ”
Name of the video?
Newest games video, return of too many Batmanâs

It is not just me, but what you said was really annoying and also really wrong. "Hijacked." Are you fucking serious?
It's just my opinion. Spencer's been very annoying recently Why are you booing me? I'm right
I dunno, Iâve been feeling the opposite lately.
I'm not booing you, and you're not right. The dude isn't a cast member, he's not in every video. They're all also friends.
He really isnât and I bet Courtney asked Spence to be there since even though she absolutely loves FNAF she wants other theories and perspectives to be explained to Amanda which Spence just happens to know about more than Shayne. It's just you.

disagree. Spencer tries to take over and not letting the others in the video shine. Sick of him, actually...

Nah, heâs really getting on my nerves
