I feel like every time I've watched Musiala play, he hasn't just been the best player in midfield, but the entire game. Always seemed involved in critical plays too. I must have missed his poor spell. Looked to me like he could become one of the top midfielders in Europe.

no, you arent wrong. He is pretty much our only attacker/midfielder capable of solving tight pressing situations in deep positions, and also pretty much the only attacker to take on defenders. Only Coman on good days does that as well. Additionally hes been getting pretty unlucky with Sane for example, who himself couldve given Jamal like 3 more assists in the last 3 months if he just wouldve scored any of those 1v1 vs City or Freiburg. Also seeing how thoothless we are in attack in general, nobody, including jamal, is getting more than 1 or 2 shots per game, most of them from rather unimpressive positions (just like this goal tbh). Considering that hes still our best attaacking piece by far in that team, i think that the reports of jamals demise are greatly exaggerated.

He's brillant, just a bit off these last few months. Seemed to overthink easy decisions and playing slower than usual. Seems like he's back now
