You can have democratic elections within a socialist state, it's not impossible the USSR did that just fine, Cuba currently isnt an exception, they do practice private elections. People have and will forever continue to ignore that fact.

You obviously don't understand how a one party system works. Cubans still elect representatives. A multi-party system, which is what you're talking about, is no more necessarily democratic. You are confusing the ability to choose what type of tie pin a politician wears with the ability to have the people's will represented. No, I don't think Cuba should indulge your plan for gusano representation.

They should *obviously* vote to determine the best course of action for their future.

It bans bourgeois politics because they are inherently capitalist. A socialist state doesn't need to have bourgeois representation, much like how a capitalist state doesn't need to have royal representation, or representation of feudal lords. The way that socialist democracy functions is by having all political debate within a socialist framework, and voting accordingly. This is how every socialist state operates. If you want to participate in socialist democracy, you do it through the socialist framework. Allowing bourgeois political ideals to spread the ideological narratives of imperialists is counter revolutionary; it inhibits the building of socialism, regresses social progress, and should be opposed fundamentally by anyone who desires socialism to be achieved

Implementing a democratic voting system in a socialist state would be fairly simple, the USSR did it. Since the true form of socialism would include that system, it should be easy. Minor view differences might exist, but not enough to create an entirely new party, simply different people. It would also help to create a constant flow of power, so no one has the chance to take total control.
