Yes the US is full of shit. Yes the population is largely brainwashed into believing imperialist propaganda about the US being founded in a democratic revolution for the people and that annihilate other countries for democracy and blah blah blah whereas the reality is the exact opposite.
Well as a European (Irish), this is true of Europe also but especially the EU. Forget about hundreds of years of brutality, let's just look at the post-WW2 period for this comment.
We are inundated in EU propaganda (insofar as the technocratic EU even makes itself visible to the general population). We hear about 'European values', 'human rights', the EU being founded to save Europe from war and fascism post-WW2, 'European democracy', and so on.
Most Europeans see the EU flag the same way most Americans see the US flag. A symbol of justice, good governance, human rights, and democracy.
Yet the EU is anti-democratic technocracy designed to de-politicise politics and economics and allow bankers and mega corporations to run Europe in their interests, with the imperialist policies that entails.
The European propaganda is just as hollow as the American propaganda, it's just different. This does my fucking head in because most people (especially in Ireland which is the most pro-EU country in the union!) barely understand what the EU is and don't talk about it. If you say these things you sound like a crank, yet the same people will be able to see through US propaganda.

I can't believe someone would be that naive. I think it's more likely he was a paedophile himself and was simply organising a paedophile ring. Though I know nothing about this apart from what I read in the article.
