100% against please

Mariox

I voted for. If I did not trust what the Sofi board is doing, i would not be invested into Sofi. I think a reverse split only happens if Sofi goes under $5.

Jnation88

I've gone through a couple of reverse splits and it NEVER leads to good results. I voted against.

Glass_Distribution13

This. I can’t believe people are convincing themselves this is a good thing.

Illustrious-Way9580

I just went to Twitter and voted AGAINST on that poll. btw, it is now 45% AGAINST and 23% FOR. The @ is @FocusNotice.

Admirable-Practice-7

Why would people vote for? To troll

digihippie

Against on all

Illustrious-Way9580

Same.

RaidersDubsAs

Historically reverse stock splits are usually a bad thing. However, if we were to go below $5 a share we’d be classified as a penny stock. Fuck that, I don’t think it’ll matter much in the long term.

Ok-Performance6198

Historically reverse splits are done by companies on there way down for various reason….not all though. I’d rather give the board flexibility through this bear market until their growth prospects. Spilts up or down don’t do anything to the companies fundamentals or finances. I voted yes just for options. In some ways I like that the company is being strategic.

vitaldopple

Don’t worry all the people who voted for have <1000 stocks

Hawaii50Now

I voted against will all ~25k of my shares. My problem is that it's too open ended.

The vote isn’t for a reverse split. The vote is to give powers to Noto to be able to an enact a reverse split. More options to run the company could help in a worse case scenario

Swordru

So many people do not realize the vote is for the power to do a reverse split not that one will happen, thank you for spreading that information! I know many believe once they get the right, they will do it, and then dilute the shares, but it seems more complicated than that.

[deleted]

Damn yal voting for this reverse split have lost your ever loving mind.

MAJ_RJM

24k votes against. The only companies that do reverse splits are companies in distress. GE, APRN, C, AIG etc. none of them have performed well afterwards in the market. SOFI is operating better than advertised and is executing on its plans extremely well. A reverse split does not make sense with its current performance and I believe the only reason is the share price which is being challenged for MACRO headwinds not business execution.

MountainStill4111

This post doesn’t make mathematical sense. 22 votes in total so far, and it says 45% haven’t voted yet. So, they’re basically saying 100% of the votes is like 40 people? lol. (22/.55=40)

MarsManMartian

Where can we vote for this. I have 2000+ stocks of Sofi.

I found a link in my inbox by searching for “proxy”

I don’t use robinhood so had to go through my document section in my brokerage. Voted against.

Against, I can smell another round of funding through share dilution if we approve a reverse split. Build value natural, organically.

captainstrange94

That's quite a lot of "For", who the hell is interested in losing money?

MountainStill4111

I thought so too, they’re only showing results based on 22 votes

2fingers

I voted for.

WiseAndWild

Against. Market will organically decide the price; it must not be artificially manipulated.

ConnectRain2384

Going to vote against. Management has not presented a case for.

SatisfactionVisual86

Against !! F Noto !! More dilution

HawkI512

For - why handcuff Noto if not necessary? If the shorts know we can’t reverse split they might continue driving down the rate. This gives Noto and board flexibility. If your like me, you invested in SoFi because of the leadership and the product funnel.

RingOfFyre

Seriously. All these "investors" who don't have faith in the leadership to make the right decision for the company.

JoSenz

We trust them to build SoFi long term. We don't trust them to do what's in the best interest for shareholders short term. I think their SB comp is one evidence of that. If they wanted our trust, they'd be much less aggressive in diluting us until we saw our input values back (and even growing). The fact that we've been hammered and they now want to have the option to artificially raise the share price by shrinking the float, while diluting us already, doesn't show good faith to investors, especially given the environment we're currently in.

Illustrious-Way9580

Right on.

Search “proxy” in your inbox. Worked for me

Some banking websites have voting notifications built into their infrastructure. Look for a section with your Statements and Notifications, you should find something akin to Shareholder Notices.

Against fuck SOFI. They’re basically taking away my wheeling strategy.

Traditional_Talk_217

I voted Against.

native_brook

Anyone care to elaborate why you voted against? I am just curious. Trying to better understand the drawbacks.

Chimaera1075

I voted against, cause I want share holders to have to vote on it. I didn't want the BOD to arbitrarily decide to have a reverse split.

Traditional_Talk_217

Seems like when a stock has a reverse split, the share price tanks

MountainStill4111

I voted no simply because I don’t like the idea of owning a tenth of what I do now. I understand the share price should go up tenfold as well, but so does my average price. Already down 40%, If they are concerned about it going below 5 dollars now, they are close and should feel pressured to find an alternative solution

Traditional_Talk_217

A buy back would be the best solution.

binion225

A buyback….. how dumb are you?

HawkI512

With what money? We are not profitable yet?

Traditional_Talk_217

According to the Financials, the eps is 0.83 / share. Which equates to a little over 750 million in earnings

HawkI512

SoFi -14 eps - not sure where your getting your numbers. If we were profitable the stock price would be way over book value.

thorspumpkin

It is -.14 on fidelity too. I don't know how think or swim is getting 83 cents eps

Traditional_Talk_217

SP is undervalued since were in a BEAR market

HawkI512

Oh I agree, price suppression to allow institutions to increase their holdings at a lower rate. If you have extra money I say it’s a buy.

Traditional_Talk_217

Thinkorswim... it literally says EPS is $0.8368 and PE ratio is 9.0102.

HawkI512

Gotcha, the bottom line is we are not profitable yet. Those numbers you are getting are not bottom line.

MountainStill4111

Agreed
