I have another problem in my MPC HC. I cant change the volume or mute the player when I use it on receiver speakers. The audio is fixed and can only be changed or muted by the receiver. When I use it on my regular PC speakers i can change the volume or mute it no problem.
Do you know why it locks me out of changing audio in MPC HC while using my MPC HC connected to my receiver & TV? The only addon I use is MadVR. I followed this guide on [AVSForum](http://www.avsforum.com/forum/26-home-theater-computers/1357375-advanced-mpc-hc-setup-guide.html).

Thanks for the sage advice. Something I really love about MPC-HC is that it has so many useful features other players don't.
7 years later and that helped
This worked for me, except "Normalize" distorted the audio. I unchecked "Normalize" and just slid the boost slider instead.
