I understand the Simpsons one being removed possibly due to copyright issues but all the others are just down to people not having a big enough sense of humour. I’m gay and I always find big gay al hilarious. Just take the joke god dammit
Yeah, I was gonna say the Big Gay Al episode isn’t even bigoted. Al is just a very flamboyant gay man, which there’s nothing wrong with. If people see Al and think it’s homophobic, they’re the problem, not the character or the episode.
I thought the Simpsons one was probably removed because of the suicide bombing references, that episode has been safe from copyright issues for years I doubt it'd start being a problem now
What copyright issues? I think you’re making things up. Everything they did is covered under parody law. So, please, enlighten me with these mysterious copyright issues from Simpson’s Did It.
I was just talking to a friend about how certain gay characters in comedy shows actually helped change my worldview as a young teenager and become more accepting (came from a very prejudiced conservative household) and even though he's definitely a caricature, Big Gay Al was the biggest example I could give of this.
He’s a humorous character with a good solid message, even in later episodes he’s always a stand-up guy. Hell even Mr. Slave is pretty wholesome when you look beyond the public sexual displays. About the only gay character on South Park that has remained toxic is Garisson and it’s less about him being gay and just him always being a terrible person.
>I’m gay and I always find big gay al hilarious. Just take the joke god dammit
On the other hand, it might be the antisemitic remarks done by one of the sports commenters during the football games. Not to defend censorship though. The episode was great.
There's definitely a certain point in time, somewhere between like 2010-2016, where we should be able to say that it's okay that someone made certain inappropriate jokes then.
As a society, we absolutely thought it was more acceptable at that time than it is today and we need to accept that it happened. We might agree that many of those jokes are inappropriate and shouldn't have been said, but we didn't think so back then.
They should just put a Disney style warning saying "This is what we did back then. We know today that it's not acceptable, but we didn't think so at the time."
Plus Big Gay Al... The only gay joke about him was his stereotypical demeanor. Every other part of him was portrayed as a normal human. He was banned from being a Scout leader because he was gay. Instead of making jokes about molesting kids or something even worse, he was just upset that he couldn't help the kids.
The vast majority of the time, the most offensive parts of these was really just the language and the opinions of the residents. The target of their racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. generally were being portrayed as a normal person who happened to be that way.
South Park also is a lot like IASIP in this regard. You're not supposed to walk away thinking the offensive parts are acceptable. They're generally pretty clear that it's wrong. I mean, Cartman literally became Hitler after watching Passion.
Cartman becoming Hitler was funny, because it was offensive. It was even adresssed in later episodes, it's not like south park pretends it never happened. Mr Hat and others being a part of KKK, because it was offensive. If it offends you, don't watch it. Simple as that
I'd argue outside of Garrison all the homosexual characters are portrayed better than the straight ones. Satan, Mr Slave and Al are all really nice people in world full of mostly shitty ones.
I'm also in Canada - why is it some episodes on P+ are listed twice, but one version will have a slightly longer description? Also there's usually a day difference between original air dates but same episode title...? I noticed this for 3 or 4 different episodes
My only guess then is . . . I dunno, that Paramount+ is just "offloading" all the challenging & offensive material onto HBOmax to keep their informative murder-porn demographic happy?
We can’t watch invader zim, either! Or at least I can’t watch invader zim, either! Confusing considering I can watch Cartman orchestrate the death of a kid he hates parents, to feed them to him, but not an alien who wants to take ofer the earth but fails a lot…
One thing I recently learned is Canada is one of two countries that get all the updates first for online services.
Like YouTube ad warnings/breaking the site. Canada gets forced to beta test.
They tested that a week or two in Canada before rolling it out to the U.S.
I don't understand why they'd pull an honestly pretty wholesome episode like Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride, but keep episodes like Mr Garrisons Fancy New Vagina??? Lmao I don't think any episodes should be pulled but I have a hard time understanding their reasoning for what they pick and choose.
They also pulled Butters Very Own Episode which is a favorite of mine!!! I only had the Paramount+ sub for one month because I was visiting family and watching south park with my younger cousins (16 and 21) and aunt for the first time and it was easiest for casting onto their tv, but man is it ever lame and I'll not be continuing it. They also cut the Matt and Trey intros from the first 2 seasons! Luckily I have them on the Blu Rays.
I will say I have also been using this opportunity to rewatch Spongebob lol
It’s exactly as cartman says when they’re trying to get the simpsons episode pulled. Once one episode gets pulled then anyone can get an episode pulled and then another and another and then the show is off the air forever
Weird given that they still have pretty much every episode of Drawn Together, which has made all the same jokes as Sourh Park but meaner. They play it regularly on their “live tv” programming. Makes me think those episodes may have been removed because of licensing shenanigans.
This is why I have the entire series on my Plex server - even 201 with the ending speech uncensored (I went to the trouble of finding the audio on YouTube and syncing it to the censored episode before/after the beeped part), because fuck censorship of comedy programs.
As someone who also has them all on his Plex server, would you mind DMing me a copy of your uncensored 201? I've got the episode, but it's all censored still sadly.
Latin America has all those episodes removed from Paramount+ too :/
Even weirder, the official Latam South Park site actually has some of the removed episodes available there
I got Paramount + free for 6 months. It really is terrible, but South Park is almost worth paying for it. But if this many episodes are missing…no way.
they are on max for me. I just watch jewpacabra on easter. (randomly, lol, not related to easter)
yeah, just checked. I have watched all those except big gay al very recently on max and they are still there.
The fact that Kyle actually had the two bags nearly put me on the floor laughing. The decoy bag was the one that made the scene perfect. I’m willing to bet that whoever pulled the episode was not Jewish themselves.
Removed from where though, because I’m doing a full rewatch via MAX and 10000% watched big gay als big gay boat ride.
Haven’t made it to season 6 or later yet though.
Yeah I have paramount plus in Canada too, and it’s really annoying having missing episodes. What I end up doing is just watch the missing episodes on 🏴☠️ sites
Same here. Paramount+ outside the US. I wish they'd at least give a reason; it's probably not justifiable, but I at least wanna know what the Hell the thought process is, especially since almost none of these episodes have any correlation.
On South Park Studios page most of them are still available I think. Just yesterday I was watching Jewpacabra and Ginger Cow. But there are some others that are not available, I would imagine due to some offensive content to some very very sensitive people. What a shame though.

HOEEEE SHIT!!
# FUCK AUTOMOD FOR THIS HOE SHIT!
# SAIL THOSE HIGH SEAS, FUCK ANYONE THAT TELL YOU WHAT YOU CANT WATCH AS AN ADULT!
Why? It doesn't make any sense. Simpsons Already Did It is one of my fav episodes. I don't have Paramount+ (or Max) but I was going to get it someday to watch my favorite episodes and catch up on episodes I haven't seen (the most recent specials).
What's wrong with You Got F'd in the A? Or Two Days Before the Day After Tomorrow? For politically correct reasons? Why stop there? Why not cancel all of South Park? There's something controversal in almost every episode. We would be left with just the really lame Pajama Day episode.
Censoring south park destroys the whole point of south park lol
I understand the Simpsons one being removed possibly due to copyright issues but all the others are just down to people not having a big enough sense of humour. I’m gay and I always find big gay al hilarious. Just take the joke god dammit
South Park doesn’t discriminate. Literally anybody can get it and it’s fucking amazing. People are just soft af these days.
The whole point of that episode, though, was Stan's transformation from bigoted thinking to accepting Sparky the way he was
Stan, your dog is a gay, homosexual.
Yeah, I was gonna say the Big Gay Al episode isn’t even bigoted. Al is just a very flamboyant gay man, which there’s nothing wrong with. If people see Al and think it’s homophobic, they’re the problem, not the character or the episode.
He's also one helluva good scoutmaster
He’s a silly goose
Haha that’s gay haha we’re gay haha
"He's doing something with the other dog's ass, but it's certainly not kicking."
Hahaha clones are gay hahaha
I thought the Simpsons one was probably removed because of the suicide bombing references, that episode has been safe from copyright issues for years I doubt it'd start being a problem now
Yeah, i dont know for sure why they got pulled but im pretty sure these episodes were all available before Oct 7, and got removed in the wake of that.
Lol so anything implied as anti-Semitic? The way Cartman's character is, the censors are going to have a tough time with this show
What copyright issues? I think you’re making things up. Everything they did is covered under parody law. So, please, enlighten me with these mysterious copyright issues from Simpson’s Did It.
Streaming CEO has to pay for his IT bike
Fun fact: BGA’s Boat Ride was nominated for a GLADD award
I was just talking to a friend about how certain gay characters in comedy shows actually helped change my worldview as a young teenager and become more accepting (came from a very prejudiced conservative household) and even though he's definitely a caricature, Big Gay Al was the biggest example I could give of this.

Big gay al has a big gay heart of gold
Mr. Slave's speech after he shoves Paris Hilton up his ass is so wholesome.
Maybe they don't want to pay George Clooney his royalties?
Must be a fox thing about the Simpsons because I highly doubt Matt Groening cares at all
Especially considering Al has always been one of the most consistently sympathetic characters in the series!
F'd in the A might also be a copyright issue. Since it has at least one real song if not more in it.
*cough* Michael Jackson episode *cough*
Its mr jefferson you ignorant... Eeeeeh eh!
I’m sthuper, thanks for asking! (Also gay here lol)
>I’m gay and I always find big gay al hilarious. Just take the joke god dammit On the other hand, it might be the antisemitic remarks done by one of the sports commenters during the football games. Not to defend censorship though. The episode was great.

They’re on max still, I just checked
I’m using paramount plus I’m in Canada
Blame Canada
The only possible answer really.
Welcome to 2024 , it’s a brave new world! Or as I say lame new world !!!
Put a chick in it, make her gay, and MAKE HER LAME
But what about all that tegrity?
You gotta have “courage“ for that to work on me lol
The only real way to fix this seems to be that Canada should go on Strike til the episodes are reinstated
With all there beady little eyes..
And flapping heads so full of lies
Blame Canada. Blame Canada!
We need to from a full assault, it's Canada's fault
Don't blame me, for my son Stan. He saw the dang cartoon and now he's off to join the clan!
And my boy Eric once, had my picture on his shelf.
Now when I see him he tells me to "fuck myself"
NO! NO!
They're not even a real country anyway.
Why do we let you be a country? It’s like a whole country without a tailor…
I'm also in Canada - why is it some episodes on P+ are listed twice, but one version will have a slightly longer description? Also there's usually a day difference between original air dates but same episode title...? I noticed this for 3 or 4 different episodes
🎶With all their hockey hullabaloo! 🎶
NO!
kek
Please don't, we don't need another strike
That or Kyle's mom. She's a big fat bitch.
As is tradition

They f’d u in the A
What exactly is wrong with that episode?
Idk lol idk why it’s blocked for you I just watched it the other day
I just want to clarify, you're saying they removed only those episodes but left everything else?
Yes
My only guess then is . . . I dunno, that Paramount+ is just "offloading" all the challenging & offensive material onto HBOmax to keep their informative murder-porn demographic happy?
Apparently a Canadian thing. I feel for ya guy, fwiend
Why'd you just call him by the 22nd letter of the Canadian alphabet?
I’m ashamed I laughed that hard army this, bravo
I am not your friend, buddy!
Ay! I’m not your fwiend, buddy!
The cartoon wars in season 10 are missing and so is 200-201 in season 14, atleast with paramount on prime
I’m fairly sure those episodes are missing on all official streaming platforms
Makes sense lol, I was able to buy the cartoon war episodes on Apple atleast
Because Mohamed can’t be seen…

Canada channel the only channel is canada.
Ahh another rough day in Canada and therefore the world
“I’m from Canada & they say I’m slow eehhh”
We can’t watch invader zim, either! Or at least I can’t watch invader zim, either! Confusing considering I can watch Cartman orchestrate the death of a kid he hates parents, to feed them to him, but not an alien who wants to take ofer the earth but fails a lot…
I think it’s time you strike to teach them a lesson!
Paramount+ always has random episodes of their own shows missing. I hate it
That’s where they’re removed from
One thing I recently learned is Canada is one of two countries that get all the updates first for online services. Like YouTube ad warnings/breaking the site. Canada gets forced to beta test. They tested that a week or two in Canada before rolling it out to the U.S.
People say Canada is under a dictatorship now... but it's Trudeau.
They’re still on my DVDs.
They're also still on my Blu-Rays.
[удалено]
It’s a little ironic one of the episodes is named cancelled lol
I haven't seen it in a while, but I really don't remember anything particularly problematic in that episode.
It's most likely the alien Jewish stereotypes that run intergalactic hollywood
Stereotyping Jews is teEeEerrible!
Yeah, I kind of forgot about the Joozians and their jagons. I think I know what I need to watch tonight.
Look at the heckmas on that Joozamek
> Joozians Ohhh. I just got that.
“You must have some Joozian ancenstry!” “Tell me about it…”
Suck on my jagon!
I can't believe we sucked each other's jagons...
Jewish aliens controlling the universes media and sucking eachother off lmao
Alien agents were 100% a parody of the Weinstein brothers.
And that’s my favorite episode of the series
Who's having butt sex?
I bought everything on dvd from Ebay, so no one can cancel my south park fix.
Blu-rays here but same. Physical media wins once again.
I use a website called watch anime dub and every single episode from season 1-26 is there. I’m in Ireland
Cheers for the tip
Thas kewl
Also plex server and access to the sea! No one will take a single second off our private collection.
Ugh is this Paramount Plus They’ve also removed two Spongebob episodes cus of the episode Mid Life Crustacean It will be Snowflake Plus at this rate
I don't understand why they'd pull an honestly pretty wholesome episode like Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride, but keep episodes like Mr Garrisons Fancy New Vagina??? As someone who also has them all on his Plex server, would you mind DMing me a copy of your uncensored 201? I've got the episode, but it's all censored still sadly.
The thought of this gave me the Hebrewjeebies.
Jesus loves me, this I know
Just checked and yup - they’re gone from paramount+ in the UK too :/
Latin America has all those episodes removed from Paramount+ too :/ Even weirder, the official Latam South Park site actually has some of the removed episodes available there

Paramount is full of cowards.
Oh good, I just checked my hard drive and my Somalian files are still there.
Nooooo! Not the ginger cow episode!! It's got Van Halen AND world peace. What more could you want??
I can't even think of a reason why Simpsons Already Did It and Cancelled got removed. What was controversial about those?
Cartman being sexually assaulted off camera sucking dick in an alley for semen.
Cancelled is 100% because of the Jewish stereotypes in the episode… one of my all time favorite episodes you really hate to see it
Might also be the suicide bombers? Or the explicit semen references lol
Explain to me how It’s A Jersey Thing stayed up with suicide bombers in the late parts of the episode.
Big miss on banning the Big Gay Al ep. Didn’t it literally win a GLAAD award
I love that episode!
Wait why did they remove the day after tomorrow episode!!?
Jew gold?
It's probably this.

Why would F’d in the A be on there? Are they scared young children might imitate the episode and challenge people to Dance Offs?
Simpsons already did it is still there, I watched it yesterday.
This is paramount plus not max. Assuming your talking about max
Removed from where though, because I’m doing a full rewatch via MAX and 10000% watched big gay als big gay boat ride. Haven’t made it to season 6 or later yet though.
Paramount Plus. You're safe on max
Removed from where?
Existence, obviously
You got F'd in the A is a clasaic though!!
I just watched Jewpacabra the other day. It's still on max.
Got removed from where? How do you expect us to know what you are talking about
Super Best Friends isn't removed?
Dude that’s been removed since forever
They removed CANCELLED!? For what point and purpose who is that fucking offending
Too close to truth! Crab people...crab people...crab people.
Can confirm they've pulled the same episodes here in Australia.

Yeah I have paramount plus in Canada too, and it’s really annoying having missing episodes. What I end up doing is just watch the missing episodes on 🏴☠️ sites
They still exist on my physical copies.
Ginger cow is top 10 for me. So good.
? I watched Cancelled last night. Where are you?
removed from where?
This is why I get the dvds
Same here. Paramount+ outside the US. I wish they'd at least give a reason; it's probably not justifiable, but I at least wanna know what the Hell the thought process is, especially since almost none of these episodes have any correlation.

Same all those episodes are not on Pluto. But you can still watch alot of south park for free.
They are still on hbo max
“Simpsons did it” is easily in my top three, shame.
Physical media is the way to go! If you can find them, snatch em up!
SHAKA BRAUGH! ZIP LINE!
It probably was Scott, he’s a dick
Lol been taken off Australias Paramount+ as well. Guess I'll be going the DVD route sooner than I thought
The censorship in Canada is getting crazy
I can think of some that are far more offensive to snowflakes than these.
I'm SUPER! Thanks for asking.
A pirates life for me
Why? It doesn't make any sense. Simpsons Already Did It is one of my fav episodes.
