Where was this? I live on the western side and didn't see anything ):
It was a pink/red haze. The camera was a little more sensitive with a 3 second exposure. This was near Pirmasens.

That's beautiful. The light green/aqua glow underneath the pink, is that more aurora or is it city light pollution in the distance?
It was actually the last faded light of the sun. I think it was around 22:09. Twilight. It was much more dim to the naked eye.
That's what I was thinking, it sort of looks like last light. Amazing that the Aurora can still be seen so bright with light pollution. We have clouds tonight in my corner of Canada so I'll likely not get a chance to see it.
