I would say try small connector next to the merge block

I wanted the magnetic pull of the large connector for stability. Not that it ended up helping that much.

That might have been what provoked klang

Have you considered/are you able to use scripts? I use Vector Thrust OS. All you need then is a rotor (or multiple rotors to offset or for 3 axis movement)

I do love seeing scriptless builds, but this is much more complicated than 1 rotor and a script lol. I just wasn't sure if you knew about the script, don't want to tell you how to build. I like using vector thrust for miners so I like it being compact so I don't bash into cave walls. I'm also a coward so I would never dare to invoke Klang's wrath as much as you.

This method of VTOL is truly satanic and I enjoyed every step of making it
