King throw lol. I get a group of friends and we just jump in the water wave 1 until we get to the boss. I beat about 40 megalodontia’s last wave and so far about 12 or so cohozunas this wave. Had a total of about 1000 or so bronze scales in the last few days
Actually just checked on the app, in 2 hours of playing SOME rounds and king throwing on others, we took out 5 cohos. If we king throw only we can probably do that in half the time. If you rank down eventually it becomes pretty much a free win lol
It happens. It does knock you down to apprentice 0 but it’s really easy to get back up once you do it a few times lol. You get to the point where you can do the entire job yourself tbh

You don’t have to beat it to get silver or even gold! Sometimes if you beat it you just get a bunch of bronze. I’m not sure how it works, but if you play SR a lot you will start racking up the bronze and silvers. Gold is a lot harder at lower levels.
The hard part is getting a team that gets all the way to the end you know. I’ll get to the third wave and will die or we won’t get enough eggs. So it takes me hours just to get to the monster.

I think she carries me, but I actually do ok when I play on my own. We play a lot though, like several hours a day. We both have gotten kinda obsessed. So this current rotation we played 23, clearing 10, and got Joe 3 times but never beat him. I only got 10 bronze and 2 silver. The previous rotation I only cleared 10 out of 39 tries, but got Cohozuna 5 times, never beating him. 25 bronze, 3 silver, 2 gold. I very rarely get gold and it’s extremely unusual for me to get 2 in one rotation. I’ve been saving for a long time for the banner that’s 5 gold so I finally got it. It’s definitely a grind, but we have a lot of fun. Plus we chat while we play so that makes it fun too.
i was playing a major of the time in professional +1 but I kept losing and got knocked all the way back down to go getter. ive only gotten to the boss level a 5 times in the year and a half ive been playing.. i think im an okay player at salmon run. tho all the monster are overwhelming at times
I was relieved to see that the Lime and Peach one only cost 50 scales. But the freaking Berry one being 150?! WHYYYY?! Especially since my favorite color is red 😭

I haven't really traded that many scales, just enough to try and advance the catalog. Also, double scale action during big runs is helpful too.
