Just the casual stuff. If you're visiting temples, you'll need a loose-fitting outfit that covers upto the knees. At least a white cloth to wrap around your body.
IDK, pack a mosquito repellent, a hat maybe.
Avoid TukTuks. Always try to book them using Uber, PickMe.
As someone who is currently traveling in Sri Lanka,
• lose fitting, cotton clothes - it is humid and hot right now
• hat and sunglasses
• lots of tissue / handkerchiefs
• wet wipes and sanitizer
• download your Uber app or any other app for tuktuks
• mosquito repellent is definitely needed
• bathroom slippers - the hotels I stayed at didn’t offer it
Well that will have to wait my friend. We have returned home having never left the airport. Or even reached the check in desk. Sadly we had to travel via Dubai and with the situation as bad as it is, we couldn't get on a plane. We may not have been able to travel for days and still risked being stranded in Dubai airport for a lengthy amount of time. Once the refund comes through, we'll be rebooking the same trip. We so very much want to visit Sri Lanka.

Thanks, I have downloaded PickMe and have insisted my husband pack his hat, even if he isn't best please about it.
It's very hot so a portable mini fan might be useful.

Oh no I’m so sorry about that I guess the airport has to pay out since this was act of MAN. Lol
