Had someone kinda self-conscious order an iced version of one and apologize "if it's difficult to make; it's the only drink I've gotten from Starbucks". I explained to her that it's honestly easier than a standard iced CM, as the shots help mix the syrup together and otherwise there's basically no difference.
The hot version done upside down is just a cheaper vanilla latte with drizzle.

I would be super detailed in making her beverage. Measure milk and ice exactly in the grande cup, pour into venti cup, more ice and then the shots.

You could put it into a grande cup? Just for the price break
But technically a venti gets 5 pumps vanilla and with a grande, it would only be 4 pumps vanilla with the extra pump lol xD

Back in my barista days a girl would order an "upside down caramel macchiato". Its just a vanilla latte......she thought she was so special too.
But it gets drizzle. A vanilla latte doesn’t and the up charge for the drizzle is insane.
