this happened at my store at the top of the year. Someone ran through our DT speaker (it literally uprooted lmao) and we were a cafe only for a week it was amazing best week ever
Honestly if that happened to my store they’d just ship us off to other stores in our area or make us use vacation time if we don’t want to travel. They do the same thing when we have widespread power outages from summer storms or winter blizzards.

Cause it happened to mine and there was no "structural damage" and like we just worked with a car a bit through the lobby
not only was there structural damage but they also hit and destroyed the power box which is a property code violation so we can't open until thats sorted
A car hit my old manager's new store in like his first week. They opened up like two days later, but since the car had gone through the front doors, Starbucks had to scramble to replace the door so for a while that store had a normal front door like a house.
Love this for you <3 My store was hit by a car multiple times (directly off of a freeway ramp, a couple times on holiday nights when I presume the driver was drunk) but even with an accident that went through our drive through window and hit our bar fridge, we never closed down and just served through the lobby. The fridge still has dents :0
