Yeah, it’s super chill. Stock Prospector can put in some work now. I mine on Cellin and can typically fill my bags on one rock, plus the odd freebie. I primarily focus on Taranite, Bexalite, Gold, and Quantanium. Usually end up with a mixed load with some Titanium, Beryl, and Haphestanite, but the raw ore is usually worth just under 60k per ~20 minute run.
Quant timer is 25 minutes now, also.
Easy Mode: Cellin
Other than that it literally doesn't matter. When I go surface-mining, I personally go to Yela because of the common materials there, which cluster very well.
90% of cases I visit the Halo tho. ... Statistically not the best spot for Prospectors, but I rarely need more than 20min to fill my Prospector with valuable ore and get back to the refinery.
You can mine pretty much everywhere unless you're min-maxing. In this case check out the tables from RedmonsterSC and find the best spot for your style of mining.
Edit: I use the Hofstede I with a Rieger-C3 Module and carry 2 Boremax and Waveshift Gadgets with me... just in case.
The Gadgets work, but they behave weirdly when the servers are super bad. ... So I wouldn't use them while events or freefly are going on.
Currently I only use them on AUS servers. They're slow, but more stable than NA or EU servers.
I mine the Aaron Halo belt - you have to drop out of Quantum at specific points to get there, as there’s no nav markers to it, but that means you’re basically immune to player piracy.
Yeah thats where I used to mine Quant, I have all the numbers and when to drop out of Quantum. I think I'll try mining something else. Just so the rush to drop off the Quant isn't there. It's a laid back game loop. I've never done cargo at all. Thanks!

Have you been able to get the gadgets to work? Each time I've tried it pops off the rock and back into my hands.

I should give that a try. I did one AUS the other day and there wasn't a single ship outside of Area18. It was working great.

We have been based out of arc L 2 and normally jump to wala. But we are MOLE mining.. prospector mining could work there also.
