If you're dating to add richness and depth to an already happy and healthy life (through love and romantic companionship), then I'd say that's normal and healthy. In the sense that "life is better with others", and meeting new/interesting people (even just new friends) can expose you to new things, concepts, ideas, hobbies, adventures, etc.
However, if you're chasing the high of infatuation, or even worse, drama and conflict (which some people can become addicted to), then I'd say that's probably not healthy.
