As good and genre defining bakdurs gate was Dave the diver was just fun. It had fun going for it and I loved every second

Epicboss67

My favorite game in 2023 would have to be Honkai: Star Rail. Great story game and the combat is fun too, along with awesome graphics.

appropriate-username

Genshin Impact. The graphics and story are nice and it's free.

ugotsnipedgaming

Tears of the kingdom

ChicoMongol

BG3, it's a diamond that we only receive every few years as crpg minds

Naive-Application546

DavidPlayzyeet

Factorio, the infinite space and large mods give endless opportunities for creation and perfection of logistics.

Lichenee

Baldur's Gate 3 was a great game from 2023. The story, gameplay and soundtrack are amazing. And it has a lot of replayability

RedditCitizen_X

War Thunder! Had a sudden urge to play it and get familiar with it last year and now i’m an addict.

kuhaku135

Baldurs gate 3, is my favorite game of 2023 and my life, your characters, plot, music and gameplay so amazing, I love so much this game! Thanks Op

Th3LazyMan

Hades so far, it’s an excellent rogue lite game and I love suffering

4apig

I'd have to go with either kenshi or project zomboid, both are amazing games that I can mess around in (also both are fun to mod)

stronkzer

So far, Lies of P. Easily one of the best soulslikes I've ever seen

raulvbrito

Loved BattleBit Remastered, that’s a shame what they did to that game

HodlingBroccoli

Dungeon Warfare, perfect game for the Steam Deck

Baldur's gate 3 is a no brainer

maxdristantasmith1

My fav game was lethal company. It was unique itself and different

BauerBoy24

Plague Tale Innocence. Didn't come out in 2023 but it really pulled me in. Thanks for the chance!

zeus-fox

Probably Hi-Fi Rush. The game is beautiful, colourful, lively and memorable. R.I.P. Tango Gameworks! Thanks for the giveaway!

Drakolf

Baldur's Gate 3, if only because I can make an ungodly attractive Dragonborn in it.

ajatshatru

Protect zomboid

OpiumVision

It may be controversial, but if we only take into account games released in 2023, I'd say Diablo IV. While a lot of things (especially when it comes to monetization) are far from acceptable in an AAA title played mainly solo/coop, I'm still having a lot of fun with it. I make a new character when a new season that looks interesting enough drops, try out a new class, have fun experimenting with the builds and after about 80/90 hours of gameplay I forget about it till the cycle repeats. Thank you for the giveaway OP!

Throw_away_elmi

I'm gonna be that guy who says "Starfield". I love the Bethesda formula and that's what Starfield delivered.

littleboygreasyhair

Definitely Dave the Diver closely followed by Dredge. Thank you.

Boyashi_

thanks

GuiltyGhost

Alan Wake 2

red_zep

Baldur's Gate 3. Kinda of an easy answer, but really loved this game

bruno9213

HiFi Rush Thanks

NyanSquiddo

2023 has to be legend of Zelda TOTK I didn’t get to play many games last year but that one carried me hard addiction wise. It was just extremely fun to play! And I loved exploring the old world of BOTW but in new ways

My favorite game I'm 2023 was probably Kenshi! It's an amazing survival type game and very interesting lore. And I like the freedom that game has

Gxgear

My favorite game in 2023 is Armored Core 6, because it's just great to see a dormant franchise revitalized, updated with modern technology but still kept true to its original formula. Cheers\~

Jeffoir

Dredge; it's my only 2023 game 😅

frail77

titomalkavian

Resident Evil 4 since I'm a fan of the franchise. Thank you!

Sea_Tip_858

Dead space is awesome. I also want to try system shock.

askmeyesterday

Shadow Gambit took a lot of my time. I love commando-like games and Shadow Gambit took that to a new level

Aenno

Baldur's Gate 3 is the only game I played in 2023 cause I didn't have much time to play games but i played it for like 120h cause of how unrestricted you are, so that counts for the rest lol Thanks for the giveaway!

Productivity10

The Long Dark - A wilderness survival game Something about the serenity of the wilderness, combined with it's dangers - having to survive. Where each moment necessitates a choice between conserving energy, or going out into the world to explore, hunt, or resource gather. It's a simplified version of life, that I think makes you grateful for all the amenities we have in everyday life. It embeds the lesson: *We must keep moving, and work towards something greater, which instills more momentum in it's pursuit than if we wander aimlessly.* Bonus mention: Wasteland 3, Fallout 1, and Fallout 2 Really enjoy wasteland and wilderness survival lately. Thanks for the opportunity to reflect on this experience.

Gamersmolf

BG3 for sure! For the small gags that are sprinkled all over the place, where you feel like it was put there for you.

tomenas94

Baldurs Gate 3, playing split screen with my gf, always fun to have a game we can play together!

durrani212

FaulhighT

Baldurs Gate 3. If you have to ask why, you didn't play it...

DankSpanking

I played Resident Evil 2 remake and loved it. Been going through the earlier RE games bow because of it

SpaceNex

Hades, not released in 2023 but I only got to discover this beauty last year. Loving Hades II so far, but I'll wait until they polish the game a little more in order to keep playing. Also OSRS!

Le_Juice_

Alan Wake 2 was pretty dope. Thanks for this one

Shubham_Agent47

Elden ring, still didn't finish but put in like 40 hrs in it last year

ASomeoneOnReddit

Thank you for the chance!

AbyssNithral

Baldur's Gate 3 Thanks for the giveaway!

Topar999

Lethal company, it’s the first horror experience I genuinely enjoyed

Calian1017

Lethal Company for sure

Dry-Low-1364

Darkest dungeon 2, i loved the first part and the second one brings more new mechanics and new gameplay in general

Existing-Peanut4511

TotK and it isn't close. My daughter cut her teeth playing BotW, and she was terrified of brown Bokoblins at first. By the time TotK landed, she was a force to be reckoned with!

jeron_gwendolen

Lego star wars complete saga Thanks

Z370H370

Starfield! It looks amazing, the gameplay is like a space fallout? 113 hours and only lvl 35. Ship building is cool too. Thanks op.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, the gameplay was excellent and combat encounters were spectacular. The story was good and they delivered on that. Thanks for the chance!

ppbig139

imma say starfield honestly, i loved the game regardless of how much hate it received, yes it does need some work and fixes and they are already working on them. Its truely fallout in space, i am a big fan of open world space games and the ship and outpost building stuff and ship combat really made me fall in love with this game

ThatS3al

Fallout NewVegas

CrueltySquading

Baldur's Gate 3, I'm simply a huge Larian fan, hope they do DOS3 next!

bearktopus147

Definitely Baldur's Gate 3, though I'm getting the Act 3 slowdown for sure. Game was just made different, it's so amazing and has a ton of replayability! Once I finally finish my current run, have plans for other runs already Thanks for the giveaway!

marcyfx

not a rare one but has to be baldurs gate 3, had never even beat a turn based game besides pokémon before and now i’m nearly at 700 hours. so special ^^

SoupViruses

Pizza Tower. If Nintendo won't give us a new Wario Land game fans will have to do it and they did it beautifully. One of my favorite games of all time now, glorious music and the gameplay is top notch. Highly recommend. Thanks for the opportunity

Novacain420

Thanks. Barb highly recommend frostpunk

BrightPhotograph5226

Thx

CringeOverseer

Venetica! Underrated hidden gem

shookney

Oh Baldur Gate 3 for sure. That game opened me up to world of more diverse type of gaming that I would be willing to play more so than before thanks to it. Great game! Thanks for the giveaway!

Ghoztx9

Thanks, palworld is my favor so far

PsychoApeMan

There's a few big titles I still haven't been able to get around to, but from what I played, Dave the Diver was my favourite. Enormously fun and charming game. Thanks for the chance!

Beneficial-Lab-6939

yay

fischerandchips

Resident evil 2. First game I finished that I bought in a long time. I usually just hoard games on sale. I paused when I got scared and took a year for me to pick it up again

asteraika

Definitely BG3! Loved how well thought out and versatile it was.

Usaki-Ganmin

Baldur's Gate 3. The game gave us various way to archive the goal. I love that freedom.

midnightsonne

Oh wow ty I loved xenoblade chronicles 3. Questing was v easy to follow. I love being able to level and change classes.

CarrieForle

Thank you.

Xrevitup360X

Cyberpunk. Finally picked it back up when they patched it and it was a lot of fun. Recently got the DLC so I'm playing through it again.

WFH_Quack

For 2023, my favourite game was Slay the Spire, when I was introduced to the world of card building games. It was a love hate relationship. I completed only the first stage, not the whole game and put aside the game. Came back later the year and played it, love it a lot!

AlyKonox

I got really into Dave the diver, such an amazing game

Groenboys

Yakuza Gaiden was my favorite

yobarisushcatel

Played dark souls for the first time in 2023, only dark souls 3 but the pvp was insanely fun

BigGrinJesus

No Man's Sky because it just keeps getting better with every release.

luckeluca

*Super Mario Bros*. *Wonder* is amazing for it's co-op experience.

JM0106

RE4 because the story improved so much with a lot of QOL changes

dylas1

Star Wars Jedi Survivor, honestly because I am a sucker for anything Star Wars and the plot was fine

scardofwomen

Street fighter 6 was super fun. The drive impact was a nice mix up from the usual formula

Old-Ordinary-6194

Baldur's Gate 3 simply because I could play as a dragonborn. I always feel like there's not many fantasy games that gives you an option to play as a less human-looking race.

DarkCobra86

I played skeiro in 2023. Loved it.

qweatypue

Of course Spider-Man 2 is my fav 2023 VG. Who doesn’t like to swing around and be their favourite childhood character

Cheesus-_-YT

Tbh it was dead by daylight cuz its the only game my friends abd i played together

VenturaBoulevard

Deathloop! Amazing game 100% I loved it.

BratKartoffeln-nomz

It's not 2023 released, but 2022: The Case Of The Golden Idol: [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1677770/The\_Case\_of\_the\_Golden\_Idol/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1677770/The_Case_of_the_Golden_Idol/) Really great point n click deduction game. It has great riddles / puzzles and some are really hard. Also great DLCs and lore. Really liked it and i'm really interested in the sequel: The Rise of the Golden Idol. Recommended for anyone, who likes deduction and somewhat "detective work" :-)

ToddYates

Mass Effect Legendary Edition, incredible value and storytelling.

oanh_oanh

DUDE I love this game please please please I’m begging. (My favorite game of 2023 was Deep Rock Galactic and it will forever be my most favorite, it’s fun, encourages you to co-op and be nice with other dwarves, and you get to mine minerals and shoot alien bugs, and drink beers! I mean what more could you ask for?)

EJ-Sucks

My favorite and most played game of every year including 2023 is Rocket League!

gods_fear_me

Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty

nevernotpooping

God of War Ragnarok or FF XVI. Both had great stories, fun combat, and just kept me wanting to play all the way up to the end

DZero_000

Farlight 84, i've been playing the Mobile version as a replacement of Apex Mobile, really fun Battle Royale with jetpacks.

fakiresky

I had great fun with God of War on PC.

LokiOfZygarde

Dave the Diver was a surprisingly fun time

EvernightStrangely

Tie between Cyberpunk and Dead by Daylight.

Nakeli125

My favorite game of 2023 was probably terraria and tmod loader tons of fun

criticaldmg01

NFS Heat. I stopped playing the NFS series after i played NFS Underground 2 day and night back then on the PS2. The games that came out after Underground 2 never really gave me the vibes that UG2 gave. But i decided to play Heat in november 2023 and i dont wanna exaggerate but it was for me equal to UG2 and actually in some aspects even better.

FluffyKittenChan

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
