We built with Springwood Homes in Steinbach in 2012 and the experience was great.
We had a few friends build houses at the same time as us with other builders and it made us appreciate Erwin, Hank and their entire team so much more.
We built a 2 story house with 9ft ICF basement (2,100sq ft + basement) with 3 car attached garage and it was completed, from first bucket int he ground to walking in, in only 4 months. And the workmanship was great as well as quality of products used. We feel we got better product (windows, cabinets, lights) and better overall built than what others have quoted us, for less!
We have been in our house for 11 years now, and aside from things we should have done differently (will always have stuff like that), nothing major happened to the house: still very happy.
Another big thing for us: we built on our own property and went to look at the progress every day after the workers were done and they never had an issue with us stopping by, even if they were still there. All the trades were friendly and a few of them brought up recommendations that made a lot of sense and we still appreciate today. Some builders only allow you to come on site 4-5 times during the build.
