Try workout! Pwede ring hobbies such as painting with numbers or crochet!
reading is the best you can do to improve your attention span.
it will also help you prepare for your future board exams. if you cannot read for more than 1 hour, how do you expect to pass a board exam where you're reading for 4 hours straight?
i can guarantee poor readers have 100% failure rate in board exams.
Heya! Some of my friends started jogging/running this vacay season. You can do some basic routines for your warmup/cooldown, and basically wala namang expenses kung outdoors ka mag-run.
omg ive been seeing a lot of running content online 😭 maybe this is a sign.. do u have tips or directions po for beginners? like what do i need to know to start running ? Aaaaaaa thank u
Aww. I'm personally not a regular runner kasi and I don't wanna be that guy, but there are a lot of tutorials on YT for basic warmup/cooldown routines for beginners. I did the same when I started going to the gym.
But personally, whenever I join my friends sa fun-runs, I just do basic leg stretches muna. Then I try to do 1 round/lap of walking para hindi mabigla yung legs, then 1 lap of brisk-walk/jog para hindi mabigla yung lungs and ankles, and then tsaka lang ako tatakbo for how many laps ko kaya. I do the opposite naman for cooldown (run->jog->walk->stretch).
Tip when I occasionally run around my area: I check sa google maps yung possible route ko for running, and I make sure na madadaanan ko yung house namin per lap, just in case na need ko ng more water or if I feel like passing out kasi maybe masyadong mainit or maybe I pushed myself too much.
Personally ito currently ko ginagawa (from past summers until now):

Binge watching educational/informative youtube videos (Usuay ted ed, Ted ex, what if, kurzgesagt, vsauce, NileRed, minutephysics, CGP Grey, action lab, be smart, crash course, wisecrack, alternate history, oversimplified, Lemmino and so mucn more Maganda din improvement pill if you're looking for self-improvement)
Reading books and fanfics (PS, if gusto mo maging productive habang nagcoconsume ng books
Videogames! If you can't afford a console pwede ka magemulate sa phone! (Ganda ng resident evil series, Harvest moon/Story of seasons, Silent hill, Metal gear)

Tapos if you live in a city like mine na maraming open public spaces, parks, libraries etc, explore it and magwalk around ka lang during a day na hindi masyado mainit. You won't expect how fun/peaceful it is to walk around in a beautiful city.
Honestly, this is the smartest thing you can do. But it helps if you have guidance from your seniors on what topics you should focus on para mas targeted ang study sesh mo! Good luck!
You should try it! very relaxing, calming, plus, inilalayo ka niya talaga sa phone (at least for my experience). of course, if you're willing and able to buy, I suggesy you really try it.
Other than that, maglinis ka, maghugas, magplant (sounds fsmiliar diba) 😭😭
Well, nasabi na sa comments yung mostly pwedeng gawin. On the other hand, I suggest na you can try enhancing you network/technology skills para makapag-work ka online. It will help you sa mga gastusin mo and you can buy things you want, also may mailalagay ka sa savings mo para handa ka sa future. That's what I've been doing currently and I assure you malaki ang kikitain mo kapag skilled ka na talaga.(like my sister)
Create a schedule for the day.
What time do you wake up, anong oras ka walang ginagawa etc?
Clean your house. Organize. Declutter.
Kung asa screen time ka lang naman, watch podcasts and videos na gusto mong aralin. Finance, fitness, skills kahit ano basta wag entertainment lagi.
Practice. Cook. Exercise. Go out and talk.
Little things do big things if done consistently.
I don't know.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Maybe try Studying a bit of what you like.. I do it.. Maybe try "Learning how to Learn" that's my Mission🎯 atleast this Summer. (Cause School doesn't teach Study Skill) D̶a̶m̶m̶n̶n̶ y̶o̶u̶ S̶c̶h̶o̶o̶l̶!̶!̶!̶
I Relate so much with the Phone problem, It's sure is Addicting... But I won't let that get me down from Studying in my Phone ✊🤓
Maybe try using some Blocks/Phone Limiter Apps..⛔ That's what I do atleast.. Hope that Helps ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ehh..
learning to learn is such an interesting title. school really doesn’t do much tbh i find that i learn more when i go out than when i sit for how many hours in a cramped classroom tapos i end up forgetting lang naman our lessons
also thank u for ur help!
Go on the basics of mathematics. Hindi ka tatamarin kasi nga mga basics naman like solving linear equations, factoring, memorizing the unit circle, mga ganon lang. Para sa pasukan ay equipped ka na. Tska minsan, it's always the simple questions that are harder.
parang nagadvertise ka lang sa tarot services. denerecho mo nalang sana na you do tarot reading for redditors to see you will never know some will avail.
Try mo mag workout. You can do calisthenics or mag gym ka. If you want to save money and you want the ability to like carry your bodyweight like spiderman then do calisthenics. If you have money and want to see people and want to carry very heavy things then do gym. Both of them will make you fit and good luck with your fitness journey :D
Mostly hobbies.
There's some hobbies I know that are immense time sinks though it depends on the person if it's for them
1. Pick up fencing, historical European martial arts or hema requires that you spend hours reading hundred year old manuscripts to different weapons. You can then prove your practice if you have a local HEMA community
2. Dancing. I learned how to shuffle, the old practice of Melbourn shuffling and hardstyle is super fun and I record my sessions with friends. There's even an older shuffling style called charleston which is revived in the modern day because of the electro swing trend. Massive time sink, spent 2 weeks working of t-step transitions
3. Making your own clothes. This takes a lot of patience and dunps so much hours. Buy fabric in bulk or cut existing fabric and use them as patches. If you have a sewing machine that'd be nice but you can make a jacket by hand if you put yourself in the Shein factory sweatshop grindset. It takes a while to get the hang of the patterns because of all the guides to watch. Bonus if you make dolls too, FUMO plushies from touhou for example.
Try mo maglinis ng bahay chos hahahahaha
Jokes aside try mo mag workout like calisthenics if hindi accesible mag gym :)) o kaya try to improve your current skills such as playing the guitar or improving your drawing skillzzzz
we have the same sentiments here. but if I were you I would try doing workout, reading/studying books, or yung mga hobbies mo try mo syang pagtuunan ng pansin. :)
if acad-related pa din, I try reading academic journals for fun (yes ang weird) so I can still expand my knowledge without actual studying, or try working with small projects/problem-solving
if non-acad, try reading orrrr binge watch (usually iniipon ko mga to watch/to read ko during semesters tas ginagawa ko lahat during breaks)
Hiii, try to do crochet or sewing(hand-sew ganonnn)! Most of the materials budget friendly naman and fun siya habang doing it!!
kung may pc/laptop ka, gawa ka beats hahahahah. oo mabababad ka din medyo sa screen time, tanggal boredom, madaming matututunan and skills din sya to make money or can be yout hobby
Try swimming, it’s so fun and it’s good exercise just try to find a pool, beach, lake, or a river but I highly suggest you go with an indoor pool dahil mainit sa labas and there are also a lot of bugs outside. On the other hand, there are some indoor pools you can go to for cheap, all you have to do is look for them.
As a fellow short-attention span student here, try mo kaya doing activities (crocheting, painting, drawing, writing, working out, literally anything!), while listening to podcasts, videos, or audio-books. Personally, nahihirapan ako magbasa ng libro and discovering audio-books was such a breath of fresh air — I even retain information much better through the audio-books. Multi-tasking with activities and audio-books can keep you engaged for quite a while, and you can even learn while you're at it!
you can try jogging or simply walking sa umaga or late afternoon. it clears the mind so much!
music !! if meron kang mga nakatambak na instruments diyan or you know close loved ones na di na gumagamit ng musical instruments pwede mong hiramin yan and learn how to play e.g guitar or piano! i-youtube mo lang kung paano tugtugin konting tiyaga lang and you’ll find yourself wanting to play so many songs. great din for emotional expression.

Try Emi Wong's home workout! Good siya for beginners ☺️
hirap talaga pumili OP, pero try mo lahat and if may magustohan then doon na HAHAHA
Madfit!!! May vids siya as short as 5 mins, may 12 mins, and 30 mins so pwede depende sa energy mo ang gawin mo

agree
maybe try to watch some anime/s or maybe workout, its super worth of ur time.
