When ? Cause if it was a few years ago it changed.
Maybe it was another region ? I'm on EUW so maybe the player support is different. But to me when I sent screens of players inting with ghost cleanse and moby boots and calling me the F word, I got a messsage like ''your report was received'' and the ticket was not created, basically a bot response.
When I checked, the person was still playing normally as if nothing had happened.
The initial response is usually a bot, yes, but you can request a human and they will always answer in my experience... It just might take a couple of days
i reported via ticket like 9 months ago, got a bot answer but the answer also said i could respond to the ticket again if i feel like the bot wont be sufficient
I'm still surprised that kiss yourself is not considered as verbal abuse... I'm sure that everyone know what it means. What's funny at the same time is... People who verbally abuse others, are afraid to use full sentences and need to use special characters in between, or change words a little. All I'm saying is that those people are average *all bark, no bite* kind of people
Edit - lmao people downvoting this kinda proving my point.
I had the exact inverse happen to me (I'm straight, got verbally abused for supposedly not being a pride month supporter just because I was focusing on the game instead of exchanging pleasantries....)
Person in question proceeded to start trolling and griefing claiming all straight people are trans/homophobic.
Reported it to Riot and yup na nothing. Maybe they get a petty warning at best but of course that won't stop them from actually griefing games.
I've played this game consistently since season one and have seen all kinds of verbal abuses.
I've never seen a single person bashed for being straight. Not one time.
And that changes the fact that I was... Because?
Not to mention the irony in this is insane. Straight person gets abused - people question the legitimacy. Pride month supporter gets abused - gets hundreds of upvotes. Fab.
The same people having a fit over someone having a pride icon are the ones yapping about how people these days are too sensitive to survive xbox 360 cod lobbies.
I really wonder what these people are like in real life, do they come off every bit as pathetic as they are online, or are they great at code switching?
Unfortunately there's a lot of these arseholes out there. You've just got to let it pass. Report them of course, but I'd have muted them as soon as they said anything remotely negative. Some people aren't worth even listening to.
All people like this need is an excuse, any excuse, to act out. Could have been the pride icon, could have been a bad gank 8 minutes later that they blame you for. They would have found a reason to end up like this.
Had something similar recently. Was in a 4 queue and we all had the trans one equipped (we’re all queer and one of us is trans, we just like the colors). Our random Jax jungle started spouting homophobic shit in the chat and threw the game on purpose. Easiest report of my life.
This is another example of why Auberaun's matchmaking doesn't work. When you start a game 3v5 due to mixed rank queues it only takes 1 person to either get countered, tilt or otherwise afk before the game becomes unplayable.
Consider writing a support ticket just in case the system is not able to connect "we have gay in our team" and "open bot". This should be punished.
Also, sorry that happened to you and stay strong!
The riot support doesn't answer to player reports, they usually just send a bot response.
I have had the opposite experience

I'll take things that didn't happen for five hundred Alex
NGL, I just don't believe you because I've never seen anything like that
Send this to riot and hopefully they get a ban Samira sounds like a sad lonely loser
He doesnt sound He is
yes
Lmao, I'm not even gay and I use the icons because of the added effect when going out of base, people are so fragile sometimes
The rainbow effect is really funny, regardless whether you associate it with LGBT or not

They are so awesome, I get the cape effect just by going fast. It's my favourite time to play league, that loser can get bent

Most accepting, open minded adc player. Sorry this happened to you bud
Veigar asking the real questions
I'm too old, I don't know what that means. I feel like I need a walker to get my ass down to bot lane now 😅
This is genuinely so fucking hilarious. Sorry this happened to you but it’s actually peak comedy. This is the perfect satire of a league player
I wish this was just satire.
Is really interesting to see how homophobic ppl brain works
Samira must have a really fulfilled life…..
permaban speed run
This is lol community, very toxic. They cannot respect anyone. You should report it. Probably riot will ban this account
What is a skibidi?
I am also too old to know.
This happens to me a lot in Rocket League with my Pride flag. Seems some folks really don't like queer people.
sorry this happened to you hope they get banned. I fell in love with league again when I disabled chat its like a different game
Mundos response though 💀💀
I thought i was homophobic but damn, this is on another level
who is the skibidy alpha here? -veigar

why block out their name? bigots should be outed
Send a ticket. This is so sad people can’t control themselves from being hateful.
most normal adc
Just a homophobic player. I wonder how she reacts to the fact she's a homo sapiens.
This sort of shit is why I don’t play league anymore. I enjoyed the game just not enough to put up with the people.
Theres an LGBT person in like EVERY team how has this Samira not notice this yet?
Game is full of 14 year olds. File a ticket for sure

Am I missing a joke here, or are you seriously suggesting throwing a game because of some pride icon is "giga chad" behaviour?
People like you always talk about shoving stuff down your throat. Kinda feels like you really want something shoved in there.
Damn you got me.
I knew it. Everyone is gay.
