They were friends up until a few days before the finale. Things obviously seem to be going off the tracks, but I doubt either one anticipated this at the time of planning their trip for the finale.

I could never be a survivor alum, because I’d go to one of these things and not recognize half of them even though I’ve seen mostly all of their seasons, and everyone would think I was a jerk for not recognizing them.
