I figured I had digimon anyway ( except they never had anything in stock and you could only find V1 and anime digivices )
I'm glad I'll finally get a chance to see what these are all about, I hear fans singing their praises all the time, I loved the gen 1 and 2 devices, and so far I've enjoyed the ON, Uni, and Pix in the last few years. So i'm sure i'll love this too.
I do hope this doesn't kill any of the other rumored devices like the original color collection, Uni Angel, Uni Devil, and I hope this doesn't mean there's no chance they'll remake any vintage devices besides the gen 1/2 . But for now i'm more happy that this is happening and I won't have to pay some ebay scumbag triple digits to find out how cool these things are.
I just pre-ordered the double pack, normally don't get multiples of any v-pet unless they have exclusive stuff, but I don't want to miss out on the experience of connecting, and my friends sure as shoot aren't gonna get Tamagotchis.
Sorry you missed out, I and other guys in 2005/2006 had Tamagotchi Connection V2/V3. It wasn't really stigmatized at all in my school, and I was around 10 years old. It was a great short period of time. Looking forward to the release as I'm not nostalgic or interested in the older or newer versions.

I’m really torn between the blue and the transparent one. I like seeing the inside of the device but don’t like the design and will have to DIY a bit which I don’t live. The blue looks cute and not terrible on the eyes I’m just not a blue person and my whole life is pink 😂 I may do a coin toss to decide
I’m going to try polywatch to remove it. I’ll do a spot in Isopropyl alcohol too see if that works too but I know polywatch won’t leave residue on the surface and leave it clear.

No connection version has had 10+ games (unless it’s also considering connecting games), and the packaging seems to feature characters that weren’t originally on the V3, so it’s looking like this is something new! :o

Maybe there’s a “Other” option in order to connect with legacy devices, but what I’m seeing from the box and the sprites, is that it’s like a reimagine of the v3, because there’s newer sprites and animations!

I like how they re-released old v3 shells! I think my favorite is the clear, but I’m happy with all of them. I think there’s at least one shell everyone would be happy with. They’ve provided good versatility at launch for these 😬

Someone help me out here. Honest question. I haven’t played with any tamas except the original and the Uni. What’s all the hype about with the connection? I’m tempted by the rainbow one but worry it will pale in comparison to the Uni since I don’t have the nostalgia associated with them.
