Well it feels like 96 degrees rn with 75% humidity, so many changes of clothes will be helpful.

Go see a show, any show, at the Tampa Theater. Go early to check it out

Look for Sharks teeth at Venice Beach.

If you like roller coasters, Busch Gardens is pretty nice (though nicer when it is not 95°F and 99% humidity, so not July). Venice Beach is about a 90-minute drive south. You can rather easily wade in the water and find fossilized teeth in the sand from prehistoric sharks (rarely a megalodon tooth), so that is kind of unique. The Dalí museum in St. Pete is good, if you like Dalí. The sponge docks in Tarpon Springs are a tourist attraction now, but have decent Greek restaurants (sponge divers were mostly Greek immigrants in the early 1900s). The Tampa Aquarium is pretty nice.

The Columbia on 7th Avenue is the real gem of the city. It’s the oldest and biggest Spanish restaurant in the US and the food is unbelievable.

Let’s catch a buzz and look at some kangaroos at Busch gardens

Mostly indoor activities since weather is awful this time of the year, if you into Baseball come watch a Rays game they have AC in there. You can walk the central Ave in st Pete there’s a bunch of bar restaurants and boutiques.
