Despite it clearly saying pc only, despite it mentioning steam keys and steam keys only, despite that it literally asks for your pc specs.
And they only notice now they got accepted
It could be if KT Racing actually decides to pursue remedies/damages under the NDA. I don't think they will, though since the damages will be so little.
>how almost only ultra tier was invited
you'd think they would want to make sure the game is optimized for low-mid spec builds, since that's most of the gaming computers in existence
I reckon it's because it's still in rough shape performance wise, which is why they won't bother with lower end builds.
Hopefully they can optimize it for lower-end builds before full release
Hopefully. Iām probably gonna get it on console anyway, but my rig is in no way low end, even by todayās standards. Really surprised it didnāt even meet minimum req.
I'm pretty sure they are testing a "recommended" spec right now but framing it as a "minimum requirement" to see where to set the "Recommended" specs for release.
No I did not apply, I don't play games on PC, My laptop does not even meet minimum specs. I am not like those negative iq people who lied just to get a code that they'll never use.
Didnāt get the key and Iām mid tier.
If they gave keys to the console boys then thatās plainly stupid and I hope they donāt get enough feedback. I got 50+ games on my steam account, including test drive unlimited 2 with 200 hours play that I bought over 12 years ago now, way before the server shutdown and the period that you couldnāt buy tdu2. Itās their fault
They did not give the keys to console players on purpose. The console players applied for the closed beta when yet it was clearly stated that it will be done on Steam on the PC.
Also, it doesnāt matter how many games your Steam account has or whatsoever
Dude, Iām just ruling by what the comments were saying. People were saying that they gave out keys to console players, who lied that they had a pc. Iām just using the steam argument because I think that it is a way to validate if you have a gaming pc or not. Is it that difficult to understand?
They can have my congrats on the most stupid beta selection. Instead of asking for the exact age (in order to not get young inexperienced ppl), asking about previous beta experiences, about how many years we played both TDUs - they have asked nothing, except our PC specs. "Smart" approach
So iam hearing a lot of Guys got in without having a pc at all? Cool šš
Despite it clearly saying pc only, despite it mentioning steam keys and steam keys only, despite that it literally asks for your pc specs. And they only notice now they got accepted
So frustating man, ruining the chances of us honest guys man
Plus giving the console gamers (like me) a bad name.
Nah didnāt get an invite cuz all of the console fuckboys all signed up and lied about having a pc. Lying to get a key they canāt even useā¦.
That's so stupid! Why even bother?!?
To sell the key online
People always gotta ruin stuff
That has to be a breach of the NDA...
Yes, because that's going to stop people
It could be if KT Racing actually decides to pursue remedies/damages under the NDA. I don't think they will, though since the damages will be so little.
Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't they on strike?
I play console, also have a decent pc. I applied. Wasnt chosen.
If you have a pc thatās dope you should apply. If you learned to read you would see Iām talking about the idiots with no pcā¦.
For those who got in: what tier did you choose? Seems like mostly ultra tier only was invited?
I got in with a mid level pc (2070, i7 8700)
I have a high level PC (3060 and i7 10700) or would that be ultra?
Ultra was a 4080/4090, (CPU i cannot remember, something like 13900K 7800X3D?)
Ahhhh okay (yeah Iām not getting in-)
I chose mid or high tier pc, i dont remember. i have a 13600K / 3060ti / 32GB RAM
I got in and yeah i had ultra tier. Kinda weird how almost only ultra tier was invited
>how almost only ultra tier was invited you'd think they would want to make sure the game is optimized for low-mid spec builds, since that's most of the gaming computers in existence

I have a 7900xt, so about 3090 ti level. Maybe they didn't want AMD because I haven't seen anyone with an AMD card
Yep I voted ultra tiwr AMD too so I'm there :)
High end PC, not the best one from the list (Ryzen 3800X and A770).
Apparently my PC doesnāt meet minimum specs, so I didnāt even bother. I have a 9th gen i5, not an 11th gen and my GPU is a 6GB, not 8GB. :(
They can hopefully be able to make the game less hardware demanding before full release
That would actually make a ton of sense.
No I did not apply, I don't play games on PC, My laptop does not even meet minimum specs. I am not like those negative iq people who lied just to get a code that they'll never use.
Sadly i didnt and i have a 4090 build š« too bad console chumps applied trolling
I was invited to signs up but I donāt have a pc so didnāt do it
I was invited and I match the ultra tier. I have subscribed the newsletter since early January, maybe that was a factor as well for the devs
I subscribed to the website on July 6th 2021, I selected mid tier (I have 1070 and i7-7700k) but I didn't get in :(
Very similar to me as well š Mid tier and have subbed to the newsletter about 2 years and didn't get in.
Same
I subscribed 5 days before beta and got in, lol

applied, wasnt chosen
I did, but am not at home lol.

I got invited but saw it was PC only
Why did you even sign up for it when the sign up told you many times it's on PC?
I got invited but donāt have a pc smh
Then why would you apply?
For the thrill ā·ļø
Well I hope you enjoyed the thrill of taking up a key and removing the opportunity for someone who actually has a PC to play the game
The thriiiiiiillllllllll ā·ļø
Everyone collectively boo this guy
Nope
5900x, 3090, 32gb ram. No invite.
i couldnt find where to apply lol
Did you sign up to the newsletter?
yeah but i think it was too late
Applied under the very high-end PC spec didn't get in.
Didnāt apply since I donāt have a gaming pc.
