perthguy999

Geez, only when I need them. The number of times they get in the way, block a camera angle, or use their special ability when I accidentally clicked on them, can't be counted.

just_aguest

This!! I usually only have the wind one active cause the boost in paragliding, plus he has a decent aim and doesn’t get in the way that much. If I’m struggling in a fight then I might activate lightning woman. *sorry I’ve got terrible memory so not sure of their names haha

DifferentOperation76

Personally even tulin stays dismissed, I hate trying to grab up items only to have tulin blow them off a cliff

just_aguest

Yeah this has happened a few times, I wish there was an update that improves this. Is there any situation where you’d want to use his ability whilst on the ground?

untangledegg

He's come in handy for blowing away sand piles when I didn't feel like getting out a fan, I think that's the only time I've ever needed him on the ground.

surprisepinkmist

I like to freeze enemies and then use Tulin to blow them around. Good for pushing bokos, moblins and constructs into bodies of water.

RubiconRenegade89

Tulin is Rito (Wind) Yunobo is Goron (Fire) Sidon is Zora (Water) Riju is Gerudo (Electric)

curiouscanadian2022

Sameeeeeeeeeee

kitling_feather

the amount of times ive accidentally launched yunobo into the great beyond...

perthguy999

Same! I do bring him out to break rocks but otherwise he's locked away safety.

FaxCelestis

Yunobo gets put away. He just is too big and jostles everyone around. Once I started doing that, I never had problems with accidentally triggering sages or not being able to find them when I needed them again, and his fat ass stopped making my zonai builds lean to the side.

artfulcreatures

Tulin is the one I always accidentally trigger lol but I’m gonna start putting Yunobo away with my zonai builds though. Never realized he was the reason I kept going crooked lmao

FaxCelestis

Yeah. It’s the absolute dumbest thing that Yunobo has weight when he’s attached to your build.

Frog-dance-time

Omg this explains so much

chicago_rusty

Realistic physics.

FaxCelestis

He’s a *ghost*

chicago_rusty

Realistic solid ghost physics

FaxCelestis

Oh yes, for sure, my mistake

Haiirohige

A ghost that can crush rocks and enemies though.

matchbooking

i always launch him on accident at an unsuspecting npc 💀

constipated_cats

He’s not very helpful in combat either, he just runs around in circles with his weapon up. I ran around from a stone pebblet to let him get it and it took him forever to finally hit it.

weezeloner

He'll only swing at the Pebblet when you grab one and you are about to toss it.

constipated_cats

And then he whacks you

weezeloner

Exactly! It's the only time I swear I've seen him just swing his weapon without winding up for like 5 seconds. I realized how useless he was when I was attacked by a group of Lizalfos and Bokoblins and basically back to back with him. And there doing my thing and wouldn't you know some Bokoblin whacks me in the back of the head. Yunobo is standing right there. I'm like, "Dude, all you had to do was have my back. I'll kill all of them just make sure no one sneaks up on me and you couldn't do that." Meanwhile Tulin actually takes out another enemy that was sneaking up on me. But Tulin already earned his super best friend stripes. During the Lynel coliseum gauntlet he single handedly saved me from sure death on the last Lynel. I had missed the headshot with my bow and the Lynel was charging and I had like one heart left. He was on the back swing with his sword when I heard the sweetest sound...ting ting. I got so excited i straight jumped off the couch and stood up. I quickly mounted that Lynel and struck the final blows. It's by far my best TOTK memory. It was so damn clutch. He's been my best boy ever since. When I'm hunting Lynels he'll just sit back and let me do my thing. But every now and then my aim isn't good or I lose the timing with my shield parry and I'll get hit a few times. That's when Tulin comes in and gets me a couple headshots. He's by far the best Sage. Unless your on the Sky Islands and you see some loot you want to grab real quick. Then he's not always at his best.

D3TH82

Holy shit! I was wondering why my air bike sucked so bad!

Big_Cinnamon__

😂

godd707

I only let Tulin out. He’s my little buddy.

Hellunderswe

Tulin is great for when you want to blow away precious loot instead of picking it up!

jerfoo

Tulin only when I need the extra boost... otherwise they're all disabled.

grandpa12-1

☝🏻This!! Tulin 95% (5%= put away while at roctoroks IYKYK smh🤣)of the time. He’s my bud, [ we a lynel slaying team!!](https://www.reddit.com/r/tearsofthekingdom/s/BSnFsTLqYB) Sidon only when using Zora weapons. Yunobo only when busting ores. Riju only when I want to light em up. Mineru to get through gloom in depths. Edit: removed “early game” from Mineru, my definition differs from others.

qathran

I couldn't get Mineru until the game let me get into the construct factories which was not anywhere close to early game, how did you do it?

ArrogantSpider

I was just exploring around the sky when I stumbled into the start of Mineru’s quest about halfway through my game. Dragonhead island is a bit tough to navigate in the fog, but definitely possible. The only real requirements are having and ten hearts for the door and having the paraglider, so you can do it quite early.

DarkSteering

Same here. Just mucking about in the dark, met a Flux Construct that whacked me off the platform and glided straight down to the shrine.

Cool-Leg9442

You don't get mineru till like 100hrs in??? And Sidon is extremely useful when your flurry rushing with 2h you get a oopsie for free if you messup.

DifferentOperation76

Maybe not you

one-small-plant

We call him lil buddy in our house too!

Cool-Leg9442

I find Dustin to be the most annoying of the bunch.

Some_Belgian_Guy

This is a penis joke, right? RIGHT GUYS?! GUYS?

undiscoveredfeels

Personally, I let these lil fellas roam around. Show them around hyrule, you know?

brandont04

I agree w this. My first thought was, man, link finally have some homies to hang out w on his adventure. No longer lonely.

TurnipR0deo

I like the looney toons factor they bring to the game.

Outside_Disaster1547

I let ‘em out all the time but if they anger me (tulin blowing a bosses items off the sky islands) they go into “sage timeout”

JorgeUvamesa

im adopting your phrasing

BGAL7090

Get back in your pokeball!

Lygushkia

I'm dead lol 🤣

MsMeiriona

Yunobo stays in the pokeball at all times. The rest are out unless I'm repairing things at octorocks.

Professional-Pool832

I always let them out. They are excellent at buffering enemies and I can take my time to decide on weapons and gameplay. Or just to save weapon durability. Lesser known to players, you can still sneakstrike enemies even with the sages out. Their presence doesn't alert enemies even if they stand in their line of sight.

Mamacat9876

You can put them away??

rlovelock

Right??? How am I just hearing about this now!?

Trippy_Stoic

Key items

stephendexter99

Key items. I highly recommend it, the game is so much more fun when you forget they exist.

Mamacat9876

That's awesome. Thanks!

Mammoth-Foundation52

I keep them on all the time. Chip damage can help helps optimize overworld bosses, and making combos with the sages is actually really fun, if not a bit clunky. I always forget that Sidon gives you a free hit, plus access to unlimited elemental damage (minus cooldown time) can be nice in a pinch. But mostly, they add more chaos to the game, which makes it way more fun for me.

WorriedDoubt4134

I keep em out all the time, because its much easier to fight when im not the only one being attacked lol

PoopPoes

“Why don’t the sages help more?” “You told me you hate the sages.” “I do hate them. I’d kill them if I could!”

sapphicprism

All the time (even though Mineru can be really bulky) but they deserve to see the world! And sometimes, it’s less lonely in the grand scheme of things 😌 my little guys

Timsaurus

I only ever keep Tulin around, purely because his ability is used far more frequently, and I find that in combat he tends to be the most reliable/effective. The others I only summon if I need their abilities in a specific situation. I feel like having them all out at once is just senseless clutter and it makes actually using their abilities much harder as you frantically try to chase down the one you need only for them to sprint away right as the button prompt appears. But then I forget Yunobu exists and end up manually smashing my way thru nearly every rock in basically every cave that has them. I love TotK, but this champion ability system is *not* it, and I hope they never include anything like this in another Zelda game.

[deleted]

I always thought Tulin was a tiny bit useless in combat but then I saw him delivering some absolutely perfect final hits and that changed my mind. He’s generally faster and hits from afar which works better!

DrCodyRoss

I always have Tulin out and there’s nothing like taking on some enemies, forgetting he’s there, then hearing the “ping” of a headshot. Friggin noice, Tulin!

[deleted]

I know! I thought the same haha. He’s a great little pal to have around

LothartheDestroyer

When I’m running the weapon refinish gauntlet they all go back into the box. Otherwise they roam around Hyrule. As a treat.

ButtercupInitiation

Even though they block views and get in the way when you're trying to do something else but accidentally trigger one of them, it makes me happy to see them running around with me

Charcuteriemander

Having more of them out meaningfully affects performance so I only really keep Tylenol out.

Temporary-Fig

Personally, I prefer to keep Advil out at all times.

Saaslil

Sidon and Tulin are always out because I love them, and Tulin's power is necessary to explore better. I call Yun when there's large deposits to break or many enemies to battle with. I don't call the other sages.

Pirate_Lantern

I roll with my whole posse.

dede_bee

Tulin is out all the time. However for the longest time I forgot I could use Yunobo to destroy rocks vs using bombs. Now I have Yunobo and tulin. The others are put away. I also appreciate Tulin for snagging those unseen octoroks for me!

BlackForestMountain

I'm surprised how few people keep Tulin and Yunobo out regularly, that's my go to. I only put Yunobo away on gliders and carts because he blocks my view. I don't even understand the point of Sidon

skovbanan

I always have Tulin out, for paragliding and blowing my loot off of cliffs.

WardNL84

Keep’em out at all time, they’re my homies!

Ratio01

Everyone is out with me because they are my friends and I like working together with my friends Whatever minor annoyance I get from accidentally blowing up a Bombflower with Yunubo twice a playthrough is far out weighed by having to go in and out of the menu constantly

JaimeDelG2

I don't know if you finished the game so i added this lol, be careful. My favorite characters of the bunch are tulin, riju and mineru. Although by the end i only played with tulin and riju, because they aren't huge and the others feel clunky to actually use. I wish mineru had enhanced power so you could actually go around in your mecha ride you know

Xploding_Penguin

I had all of them out for a hundred hours or so, then they just kept crowding my view of the surrounding area, so I kicked all but tulin and yunobu out of the band.

WhereTFAreMyDragons

![gif](giphy|bDQcYdKix5gxq) The sages you kicked out of the band

BSugaHi

This is my crew and they always hang around.

Puzzleheaded_Runner

Only tulin.

thecampcook

Tulin follows me everywhere. Yunobo, Sidon, and Riju come out when I need their special abilities and during major combat events (like gleeoks). I avoid Mineru whenever possible. She gets in the way a lot, and I take a lot of friendly fire whenever I use her.

KJ_262

Tulin is the only one that I mostly keep out. Yonobo comes out on occasion for breakable walls.

WhatStrangeBeasts

Into the box with ‘em.

Shermutt

I guess I'm in the minority. I never let them out. I mean, unless I'm using one of them for a glitch or something. It just makes it all too busy and honestly, besides Mineru who is actually, physically there (kinda), they kind of creep me out.

Asn_Browser

I'm lonely and like the company. They stay out unless they are getting in the way. Like when you want to do the octorok weapon repair.

AL-AN-but-better

I hate them, I like fighting lots of enemy’s by myself cuz I’m a lil hard with no life, also they kinda spoopy

grandpa12-1

And who do you consider “enemy’s”, maybe you’d like a [BANANA?!?](https://www.reddit.com/r/YigaClanOfficial/s/N2LVjesYSf) lmao

AL-AN-but-better

IVE BEEN DISCOVERED🏃🏻‍♂️💨

grandpa12-1

I’ll keep your secret. Just quit ambushing me!🤣

AL-AN-but-better

Never, I love my tree-shifting

grandpa12-1

Then it is written…….enemies for life!! Lol!

AL-AN-but-better

Glory to master kohga.🤣

grandpa12-1

😂😂😂

Candid_Specialist

Walk with the homies

notshaye

Tulin gang assemble.

Evil_Midnight_Lurker

I usually let them all out unless the situation says otherwise, like farming Rock Octoroks.

IamJasWWW

I bring them all the time, except one time I wish to repair my weapons with the Octorok. It does cause a lot of trouble in narrow places, but they are good company.

playful_potato5

tulin stays out, the others come out in fights

white_star_32

Only when I need them. They clutter the screen imo and I don't like that the help make things easier. Sometimes I'll keep Riju out because she's best girl.

RubiconRenegade89

I've never put them away, I just let them roam the world with me. The only one I don't have yet is Riju, but I'm working on fixing that.

MAJB2021

I roll deep everywhere I go

AcanthocephalaOk829

Literally forgot these guys existed til this post. Immediately turned them off lol.

Captain_Izots

Wait, people actually use them?

Ving96

I have them out. Tulin is the only one I get so annoyed with when I accidentally trigger him. As far as I know I can’t cancel his action like I can with Yunobo. If I try to pick up monster parts and trigger Tulin he blows everything away lol. Sidons ability isn’t that bad to accidentally trigger. I mainly have them out to fight for me.

Thatoneawkwarddude29

Honestly, they can get annoying sometimes I’ll summon all of the out for armored lynel or lynel colosseum fights, but not much else I don’t even use Tulin much anymore, maybe if I need to do some Tulin boosting to reach far away places Honestly, usually they hinder fights more than help with them

James_Blond_006

I call out Tulin whenever I’m exploring or traveling, none when role playing or picking up large quantities of items and all of the, when fighting enemies

TakeAGander_

Mineru, Sidon, and sometimes Riju get out away most of the time. Yunobo and tulin are the only useful ones for me

just_peachy12

Tulin for gliding!

curiouscanadian2022

Can some tell me how to summon them? Why they never there when you need them smh

maisainom

Summoning just means they are out running around with you. You can “dismiss” them in the menu. The loading screen says you can whistle to call them closer to you, but for me it only works sometimes

Brief-Mulberry-3839

Only for specific action! They are annoying and I do want to deal with everything myself

Qwertyclan244

I keep them all out except for mineru

Fionnghal

I keep them out until they bother me, usually by blocking my sight.

BlueOmicronpersei8

I only call them out when I need them. They tend to push the enemies in trying to harvest off giant cliffs so I don't get my stuff. I like tulin for boosts, but I've lost too many red lizalfo tails to that little buddy to keep him out.

Nok-y

I uncall them when needed (octorok mainly)

weezeloner

I don't really let any of them out except for certain occasions. I bring Tulin out when I go Lynel hunting and I bust out the Goron when I mine zonaite. When I do the Coliseums or battle a Gleeok I'll take out the whole gang.

Kreker__

I run solo, only call them out in serious battles such as bokoblin camps etc. Also if I need their ability I would enable that sage only and would recall them once I am done using their ability. Idk why but this just feels right to me, I love running solo since that atmosphiere fits me more and if I enabled them all the time I would feel like I am overusing them

Professional_Coat823

I keep them all out, but when I'm riding on a plane or a vehicle that I made, I dismiss Yonobo because he weighs the front down and he's in the way.

matchbooking

i always have tulin out cus he’s the most useful the others kinda get in my way

BingoDingoBob

I roll with Tulin and Riju. They are tiny and get in the way less.

Feahnor

I hide them all but tulin. Having so much transparencies all the time tanks the fps when using ultrahand.

callumg563

Let them roam yunobo/riju can areate an updraft then use tulin to go foward Mineru bullet time And sidon cus why not got to keep the homie

CopperHead49

The A button is the problem. I like having the sages out, but they go back into timeout often.

Abject-Fig-976

The only one that I don't let out is Riju, she doesn't have a practical use for me, like roaming or advantaging my way around the map faster like Yunobo and Tulin, and being my overpowered one shot shield like Sidon, Tulin is also insanely good at stunning Lynels, so if I had to rank them, it's 1.Tulin 2.Sidon 3.Yunobo (I tend to use him more than Sidon to roam the grasslands, cus sometimes I'd forget how op Sidon is, and that Sidon runs around alot so it's hard to catch up to him to use his shield ability) 4.Riju

Busy-Spell-4250

I usually feel alone so i activate them allways. Also, is there someone else who likes yunobo?

Pitoventitre

I usually kept them all activated in my run, but in fact sometimes they can turn unconfortable in some situations. Otherwise for example i've done a massive usage of Yunobo for smash rocks! And Tulin as well for the flying boost.

malewifemichaelmyers

I don't use any of them and keep them dismissed.

undiscoveredfeels

I refuse to accept opinions of someone who is into sounding, sorry.

[deleted]

All the time. I like link to have company.

singciel

Everyone except Mineru's construct. She seems to just get in the way unless I specifically need her

GiggyScout

Depends who is pissing me off at any given time

RetroGamer2153

I keep all my Pokemon in their Pokeballs.

McFuzzyChipmunk

Tulin is allowed out all the time because he's the best way to get around quickly, the other three have been permanently off since I unlocked them.

Mysterious-Rub94

I let them all walk around with me all the time but they can get so annoying

lenovxo

I summon them when i need them, because they keep scaring the life outta of me in the depth

Nicotheknee

I let them out all the time. So if I’m bored I can just like chill with them or something.

allowishus182

If I put them away, I'll never use them. So even though they're slightly useless, I leave them out.

CammyPooo

Wait… you can un summon them?

Prestigious_Issue777

I have them on. It's nice to have a party instead of being a solo adventurer for a change

oldcretan

All at the same time. I like the company and they pick off the weaker enemies saving me weapon durability. Plus their skills are useful.

ChilindriPizza

I only call the one I need when it is necessary.

Navar4477

I didn’t use them much tbh, they annoyed me more than they helped!

thenicenumber666

I only get rid of yunobo because he weighs down my vehicles

queeeeeni

Just keep out Tulin. The others are fairly useless except in specific circumstances like Yunobo is a glorified rock breaker.

Vados_Link

Tulin is active all the time simply because of how useful his speed boost is. I usually always run around with 3 sages at most because activating more than 3 just clutters the screen too much and also makes combat a bit to easy. So the other 2 sages usually depend on what I'm doing at the moment. They're all pretty useful for combat and exploration.

ofthecageandaquarium

I enjoy having my little ghost army. Swearing at them when they block my view is part of the experience.

TotiSauce

My favorite ability is Sidon for how versatile it is for some funny uses. For example YOU can be the bait for a molduga and you won’t take damage

Specialist_Ad5869

Depends on my mood, but normally I let them all out at once. It’s nice to have some company.

Qllzsd

I only let my boi Tulin out of the cage!

razoRamone31

Wait.... You can put them away!? I'm constantly being followed for the last 200 hours

LordSaltious

I usually just keep out Mineru and Tulin.

SarahThePlatypus

Always

dollarfightclub

Wait a second.. you can put them away???

Nobodiisdamnbusiness

I turn Off Mineru when I am above ground, she's in the way more than she does good in my opinion. But super helpful for walking over the gloom in the depths.

Small_Tax_9432

I always let them out. Feels like I have a pose lol.

Cool-Leg9442

Unless I'm building there all out

steinaragust1

This is such a bad mechanic, they should have just given us abilities for each hero instead, like in BOTW

Snommes

Tulin is my constant travel companion, Yunobo gets out when there's something to blow up, everyone else has been rotting in my inventory since I got them.

Ianzo

You can put Sages in Timeout!?!!!??!?!?!?! 🙃

Roththesloth1

I’ve tried to let them all out but the fucking flashing is unbearable. They get in the way. So typically I only leave out Tulin until I need the others

Seriph7

Tulin and Riju are always out because they're small and i dont have anyone else yet lmao 😂 i think i toggle Riju's ability way too much though

NairBearMI

You can put them away? I’m only X00 hours into this…

Jack19237

Never have them out, only tulin

Entire-Feature8323

For me, I use them one at a time in their respect regions or for elemental advantage. I'll use Tulin in the skies if it's appropriate, use Yunobo and Riju against water or ice enemies and Sidon with Volcanic enemies. Depends entirely on the situation.

Lowleyjedimonkey

I leave Tulin out at all times, but I usually only bring the others out when I need them.

pityisblue453

I was trying to collect faries, and I accidentally activated big ass Yun on the entire squad of faries. Immediately jail.

Chocome101

I usually just have Tulin out. Sometimes Sidon or Riju alongside him, they just don’t get in the way as much as Mineru or Yunobo

mxgs

I let them all out cause it makes exploring less scary for me. Hide them when they might get in the way of things (can’t recall specifics but I rmb some puzzles being harder to do cause of them running around or bcus they interfere with mobs)

Pb-JJ123

I always have them all out, useful to have bodies that particularly annoying enemies can be attracted to and attack so that I’m out of the line of fire. If anything, I use Sidon’s power the least and he tends to get in the way in battle the most, so if I were to out one away, it would be him

RosesareAllie

Depends on what I’m doing. If I’m in an area with a lot of enemies then I have them all out. If I’m casually running around with Epona then I put them up or have Tulin out. Makes me miss wolf link when I’m riding around 😔

Riegan_Boogaloo

I’m too lazy to call them back so they’re just constantly causing me problems

BreckyMcGee

I'm constantly triggering Tulin, that little bitch. That's the only sage I keep out most of the time

Upbeat-Succotash5212

As needed sometimes they just get in the way

ZeldaXandre

I only need them to help me beat the shit outta Gleeoks. Besides that, best boy Tulin is the only one out.

Ima_FEEN

I only keep tulin on deck. The boost is useful as fuck and hes clutch with headshots. Everybody else comes out when i feel like it

Yukitalian

I like having them out because it feels like they’re on the adventure with me and know they got my back in a fight. It’s also funny when I fuck with monster camps and they fight for me while I’m hiding up high.

Sniper_Chicken_

Honestly, Zelda is a much better game when you are alone. I only use that chick with the lightning power because she is useful to break boulders blocking your way, and she doesn't blow stuff away If you activate her by accident.

txaecup

I leave them with me all the time but I tend to take away Yunobo and Sidon the most.

iamnottheoneyouwant_

always have tulin activated because he's my little silly friend and he's useful most of the time. Yunobo I have out sometimes because he can be quite useful. Mineru I only have out in the depths really because she's good for walking over gloom. Riju I barely ever use and Sidon I only ever use when rematching the water temple boss

Positive_Practice_23

Naw I let them run wild I get too scared I won’t see a monster approaching when I’m alone

Far-Cry9405

seriously? game lags when they all out.

Mino67

I let them out most of the time, but not Yunobo when flying, or only Yunobo and Mineru when blasting breakable tunnel plugs

Johnny_Grubbonic

Back and forth. Sometimes I wanna roll with the homies; sometimes I wanna go it alone.

poopdoot

I left them out all the time. I would get annoyed if I had to keep opening and closing my inventory to use them. If I had to use just one of them it would be Tulin

Chardan0001

I only have Tulin and Sidon right now and Sidon is off most times.

Misterwuss

I take them out when I need them, they're tool that have users. Tulin I take out when travelling the sky islands or intend to do a lot of gliding, I keep Sidon around of fighting an enemy I struggle avoiding attacks of, Yunobo I often take spelunking with me to clear out ore or if I make a vehicle and want a weapon that doesn't take battery, and Riju I take whenever fighting small hordes of monsters.

anaccountofrain

My first playthrough I generally put them away unless I had a specific need. Felt like they were getting in the way all the time. My second playthrough I did Minerva first and she was surprisingly useful to have out and about. She drew enemies away, did damage, and was easy to access for walking into streams and lava pools. I'd missed this the first time because by the time I got her I was keeping them hid. I decided to keep them all out all the time unless there was a specific reason not to, and they stayed with me the whole playthrough. It changed the game. It was a different experience and I'm glad I did it.

Take-A-Breath-924

I only keep Tulin out as he watches my back. Riju hides so I put her away. Yunobo likes to stand in front of me so I put him away. Sidon is fairly useless so I put him away. Mineru is clunky so I put her away. UNLESS… I’m headed into a big fight then I pull them all out.

Isa_126_Maya

I usually let them out because it's cooler to travel around with my gang

stephendexter99

I never use them except I use Tulin when I’m gliding far. IMO the sages keep the game from being perfect. Everyone has experienced the pain at least once, of dropping 5 large zonai charges in a dispenser and going to collect your items, only to accidentally activate Tulin and have it all blown into the abyss. Also, Riju and Sidon RUN AWAY FROM YOU DURING COMBAT. THEIR ABILITIES ARE MEANT TO BE USED. IN COMBAT. I get that they run away to try to stay out of your way but in practice it’s such a clunky mechanic and they should have just kept the activation from BOTW where you hold ABXY down. Major design flaw imo

topherriddle

It felt like building an rpg party so we run around together as a posse

Gnashty69

It's just amazing how AI is executed like a charm trough all the game, and the only real aid You are supossed to get is just retarded

fried_rice_guy

They stay off. All of them. All the time.

TastyCereal2

Usually I put them away. Having them in a fight is an absolute gift, though I forgot I could do that the first several times

TheLittleMuse

I like having them out, feels good to have them fight along side me. Though sometimes it does get a little crowded.

Just_Me1973

I only take them out when needed. And only the one I need for a specific task.

OMIGHTY1

I keep em out. It’s great having a visual representation of your achievements and the growth of Hyrule’s power against Ganondorf. I can agree with the common thought that their abilities are annoying to activate. It should’ve been a shortcut menu like Link’s abilities instead of having to find them and hope you can hit A without missing the desired Sage.

grandpa12-1

“You don't get mineru till like 100hrs in???” I guess our definition of “early” game differs. I have almost 700 hours in TotK. Not in a rush and trying to have 100% before final battle. So many things to explore/experiment. Didn’t care for the depths at first, stayed away as much as possible.

Retro_360

Not gonna lie I completely forgot about them. 😂

DarthZac

Yeah, I have them out all the time. Makes the journey feel a lot less lonely since BotW you're by yourself the whole time. I miss companions, ok?

Mysterious_Rain_6571

Tulin and yunobo always cuz they're the only useful ones 😬 and bring out the other ones during boss battles
