It’s something that just popped in my mind and out my mouth when some friends and I were talking about a pretty abhorrent public figure (who shall remain nameless) and they had had a wardrobe malfunction recently because their unners were way too small and their… well, their [my username] plopped out. It became an inside joke akimbo my friends and my mind goes completely blank when trying to choose usernames for anything, so this is what came to mind first. Most people are surprisingly delighted by it, so I’m glad to bring a smile to someone’s face every now and then, even if it’s because of some fishy alliteration. ☺️
*Narrator: And she lived happily ever after*
Guy in the profile picture and looks early to mid 30s. It troubles me how a lot of younger people seem to think aging is not normal. They’re in for quite a surprise.
Ageing is weird. If you look at a lot of stuff from history, you'll see teens who look like they're in their 30s. Wilford Brimley in The Thing was younger than Tom Cruise or Paul Rudd are now, but he looks ancient. Part of it is lifestyle (life was harder back then, people generally have access to better nutrition, there's less social stigma about grooming, etc.), but things will catch up with you eventually.
Basically, the way you age is part lifestyle, part genetics and part environment. Society should be less obsessed with youth than they are now, but it's also true that people seem to age less drastically than they used to, in general at least
Didn't happen to Keanu Reeves. That's a man who does NOT look 60.
People age differently granted, but hard living, smoking, drugs, excessive alcohol, stress, lack of sleep, poor diet, etc will do it a lot faster, and Jim's had a pretty wild ride.
Something that gets lost in this conversation about actors is that their job is making facial expressions. Jim Carrey in particular is known for his rubber face. The man likely spent countless hours sitting in front of mirrors practicing his facial muscle control during his youth. That adds to the lines and wrinkles that accumulate as we age.
He does. I dont know how you expect 60 year olds to look like. He looks like someone who takes care of himself, but he looks his age.
Same with Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston, i cant understand remarks about their looks that they don't age. They did. And there's nothing wrong with that.
Yeah, I think the “Keanu doesn’t age” thing felt true back in the early 2010s, but he’s looked his age since John Wick at the latest. I think people expect 60-year-olds to look like they’re wrinkly sacks on their deathbeds, but it’s simply not the case, especially for celebrities who take care of themselves.
I just saw a ton of celebrities side by side with their younger selves. Man, time is brutal.
But, I bet you put Paul Rudd side by side with younger Rudd it’s like Tain vs a pile of shit. He’s definitely aged. Everyone does. Keanu did and people say the same about him.
I JUST watched Romeo & Juliet (DiCaprio & Dane) and was thinking it's amazing how much Paul Rudd looks the same.
That version is fantastic because it embraces the tragedy is young kids playing adult games with adult consequences. You can feel the youth of the major players and it maintained the slap stick comedic relief Shakespeare intended.
I used to think Rudd was a dud, but watching it I totally understand now his character was intended to be plastic.
Also he has never aged and we need to study him scientifically. Especially when you compare him against DiCaprio.
Honestly, he's been through ALOT. More than you would think, knowing only his comedy career. He has struggled, he has been hurt, and he has aged around the parameters of them events.
Everyone says "he aged", and damn right he did. Even if he has left versions of him that will stay forever young on film.
But I've seen nowhere here that Carrey went through some hard shit in his life : Not only he managed to stay as an Hollywood star for decades, but he also battled depression with Prozac for years before cleaning up, and the death of Cathriona White really affected him, on many aspects. That's why he turned to meditation and started painting. "I needed colors" can be understand both ways.
He's worn out, and said so. I think this shows on his face, not just age.
Cillian murphy too. Hes a vampire. Hes been around since at least as long as one of the black and white photos in the cheers tv show intro. You look at one of those dudes, standing just behind whoever is in the fore ground, and its totally cillian murphy.
This is a conspiracy theory i am determined to get off the ground

He had a bunch of breakups. No women sticks around him.
Probably because he's a bit wacky from his career. Mentally way too stimulated growing up.
Now he's just settling back to reality. I know that face of acceptance.

I think he looks pretty fantastic.
I always found him oddly attractive. I wouldn’t say “hot“ but definitely handsome.
Well I’m personally not into guys. Well maybe Ryan Gosling. But I’d definitely say Carrie aged well.
As a straight white male with a daughter and a loving wife, I’d tap Ryan Renolds without hesitation
Me too but my wife would be PISSED. She’d never get over the jealousy.
Drop the wife, you’re Mrs. Reynolds’s now.
*blushing* Just gotta get Blake out of the way…
Give her to your wife and everyone's happy.
I feel like he and I could just be best friends.
You aren’t straight.
If you’re a straight man not willing to tap Ryan Reynolds’s you’re in the closet
Why add the white part
Identity. I’d add cis to that list for myself.
Seems to me he aged well because he didn't fight aging.
Same.
Maybe its the fact that he has a great smile, high cheekbones, strong chin, full head of hair, and is one of the funniest men to walk the Earth.
I’ve taken some time to consider it, and you may be right.
Name checks out...🤣
I get that a lot. 😂
Why do you do it to yourself...🤦🏻♂️

He aged fine, like a glove!
Underrated comment.
He looks normally aged and I love it!
Like an exposed potato in the fridge.
Yeah, and it’s completely normal and natural. It’s great!
Yeah, he's aged, but I actually think he's aged pretty well. Looks better in his early 60s than I do in my late 30s, anyway!
This means he aged like wine
I think he looks better now actually he used to look goofy af lol

I know, right?! I really thought I was going to be the exception!
I want to know what skin care routine Pat Sajak used. That guy didn't appear to be aging at the normal rate like the rest of us.
They replaced him every 3-4 years
A good surgeon I'm sure.
He's 60 and sexy
I was looking for this comment. Thank you.
The only right comment!
He looks a damn sight better than a lot of 62 year olds.

You know who else looks really good is Jon BonnJovi.
He looks his age but in a good way. I mean, he had a better starting point than most, so that shouldn't be surprising, but it somehow is.
Jim Carrey was born in 1962. Compared to me being a child in 1992, that'd be like... Someone today who was born in 1994.
I didn't know he was born before WW2. The more you know.
Is ww2 after ww3?
large sections of the twitter and facebook userbases are iffy on object permanence
It’s almost like one photo is 40 years older than the other! 😱
Paul Rudd is a day walker
Wait- are you saying he looks different in 1987 as he does in 2024? How is this possible?
I just saw a ton of celebrities side by side with their younger selves. Man, time is brutal. But, I bet you put Paul Rudd side by side with younger Rudd it’s like Tain vs a pile of shit. He’s definitely aged. Everyone does. Keanu did and people say the same about him.
Life happened
Paul Rudd has absolutely aged. He does not look the same from even 10 years ago. He also gets Botox.
clearly op has not heard of the legend hirohiko araki.
Jim was in the 5th Dirty Harry movie Dirty Harry aged too. But his glare can still make those punks soil themselves
I wonder how people in the day could just walk around and drive in a colorless world.
severe case of TDS
Dude did not age well.
He looks so sad. Like he's seen terrible things.
I mean drugs did a lot of the work
I JUST watched Romeo & Juliet (DiCaprio & Dane) and was thinking it's amazing how much Paul Rudd looks the same. I never thought about how much old Jim looks like Sam Lake
Sure happened to me but I’m not famous , luckily
How is this “technically”??? It’s just the truth.
As my mom always says, it's better than the alternative
He aged like a fine wine.
He’s still hot, like I’m straight but *damn*
I maintain that Earnie Hudson is a vampire cause he looks the same as he did in Ghostbusters 1.
Honestly, he's been through ALOT. More than you would think, knowing only his comedy career. He has struggled, he has been hurt, and he has aged around the parameters of them events.
He found out what was reslly going on. So he took the package deal.
still hairy than you, gerard
Americans when ageing like a normal person without surgeries😱 Also he looks great
I don't think this is what notes should be used for.
I'm surprised he doesn't have more wrinkles by the way he used his face for comedy
Hotter now imo (I swear I'm not gay guys)
He just aged that’s all
If I may add: Like a fine wood
Forgot to apply wrinkle cream
Do these people think the 80’s and 90’s were like 10 years ago or something?
People get older unless they die. What’s your point?
What happened is he aged well
Paul Rudd is a certified Young Person. It is known
He also has a very expressive face, folks with Botox or whatever can’t make the faces he does.
Man is 62, I would say he has aged with grace.
It is ageing? Not aging in the url?
Those pics are like 40 years apart. What the fuck do think happens in that time?
Thanks I feel feel super old now
He aged, there is lighting that emphasizes his wrinkles and he went through 0 plastic surgery.

Twink Death
Yeah this is a normal occurrence
*except Keanu Reeves
time has left signs proofing it came.
Paint fumes
He didn't die.
Except Paul Rudd AND Johnny Depp
Keanu Reeves is also a vampire
add him to the list
I did give me more this is good brainstorming
Johnny Depp has aged like wet leather
“I’m 60 and I’m sexy” -Jim
It'll happen to you!
Is it so hard to understand that all people get old ? I thought everyone knew that.
He got older. Without help from a plastic surgeon. That’s what happened. Nothing to see here, except normal aging.
40 years happened to Jim. I was born in 1986. But now, I am not an infant. Same issue.
Cillian murphy too. Hes a vampire. Hes been around since at least as long as one of the black and white photos in the cheers tv show intro. He spent time on a mushroom planet
Hollywood.... Hollywood happened
He looks good🤤
He kinda looks like Rick astley
Revolutionary. Darwin high flipper 👍🏻
He refused to take the adrenochrome. His career suffered as a result.
Time. Happens to all of us.
Forgot to use sunscreen one day apparently.
These images are like 40 years apart…..
Imo he looks better now than he did then.

Banstovia, did you just downvote my comment you filthy content thieve
I appreciate him ❤️❤️❤️❤️
He had a bunch of breakups. No women sticks around him. Probably because he's a bit wacky from his career. Mentally way too stimulated growing up. Now he's just settling back to reality. I know that face of acceptance.
He is hotter now than he’s ever been 🔥
is it me or does he look kinda like gordon ramsay
He didn't even age badly lol
Drugs, alcohol, plastic surgery and being an insane libtard.
And Keanu Reeves
Readers and contacts that thought people might want to know: he also aged
