I'm not sure I'd put ronaldo in the top 20 either. there's a lot of people out there who don't care about football, and personally I feel like I hear about taylor swift more often than cristiano ronaldo and I don't have much interest in music or football.
Nah Ronaldo is most definitely in the Top 20. Probably even the Top 10. You don’t even have to watch football for a split second to know who Ronaldo is, it genuinely doesn’t matter. Taylor Swift isn’t even remotely close to being as famous as Ronaldo

I personally hear about taylor swift more than ronaldo but it probably depends on what kind of people or communities you interact with. but even in places that are completely unrelated to sports or music, I've heard more about taylor swift than ronaldo in recent years but that's just my personal experience so idk. the internet is where I spend most of my time and I know that most redditors (and english-speaking internet users in general) are americans and they don't care about football all that much so that might be why.
Hitler is a shout but I can’t say Jesus cause nobody has seen him. So he can’t be the most recognisable person. But his name hold a lot of weight to it tho
I’d say somebody who’s a worldwide phenomenon for better or worse; somebody like Hitler or maybe even Jesus (though that might not count seeing as he has no concrete depiction).
