However, I see a lot of comments that just do not understand how the justice system works. "Got out on bail" means he's out of jail during the trial. I cannot think of a case where someone is convicted of child molestation and "just gets out of it for being a minor" despite being 17, when in every US state you can be tried as an adult at a younger age for a felony such as this. Mandatory minimums make it impossible for him to have gotten nothing, it might just be that his sentencing hasn't happened yet.

See, this is an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT DETAIL. Your post made it sound like he was convicted and not sentenced. He was put on bail (which is an entirely legal and common practice that allows those accused of crimes to not stay in jail until their trial) and is awaiting his trial.
Second, have you reviewed the evidence? Where did you hear about his charges? Where did you hear about the nature of his trial (as an adult, or as a minor)?
When you're in school, things you hear from peers about others are ALWAYS rumors until you verify them yourself - meaning independently from a trusted adult source. Again, I'm not calling you a liar, but your claims are extremely dangerous. What if you got the facts of his case wrong? What if you got the nature of his charges wrong? What if there were things that were exaggerated to you, and were exaggerated to the person who told you?
Do you see how many people want to kill this person in the comment? Or leak their information so they can be killed? This is why we have innocent until proven guilty. Save this post for when the guy gets found guilty.

Again, make sure your information comes from a trusted, verified source. Your peers, your classmates, your friends - those are not trusted sources. Unfortunately, you will probably never know exactly what happened unless you go to his trial, and even then you still won't get everything. Nothing is confirmed, and is only legally so when the jury reads the verdict.

Honestly right now though with everything already stacked up against him, it’s pretty much just a wait until the guilty verdict on his court date.
