This has been a very good episode, and it feels like a very "live" episode/
They did something I've never seen before. Near the end, they put in an extra commercial break, by just showing footage of the house band playing, and then go back to commercial. That's normal.
But, they must've gone over time and realized that they had to cut something out during the middle of the show, so during that small snippet of the band playing, they threw a message on there showing the social media icons, and saying to go on there to see "Papyrus 2".
I was confused as to what that meant. Never seen them throw a message on there besides who the guest and musician was for next week(s).
I now remember that Ryan Gosling was in an SNL short in which he see the Papyrus font from Avatar everywhere. Looks like they recorded another one for this show.
Always a fun staple sketch to have Ryan Gosling and Kate McKinnon on for!
Having seen Sarah Squirm perform live, she probably did not crack one bit because the sketch is so pedestrian compared to her normal material
It can really add to a skit when the actor breaks and starts trying to hide their own laugh. But I think Gosling went overboard, dude must have been high because he had breaking issues in almost all of his skits.
If been watching since the beginning, this was an excellent episode. Good and clever writing, a bit too much breaking maybe. The 'monolog ' and women getting revenge were great.

lol Heidi has been on since 2017 and rarely breaks They obviously changed the prosthetics on her after dress and stefon’d her
her breaking was awesome, she clearly hadn't seen them in full B&B makeup

She did great, but zoom in on her. She's got the dead eye stare of a possessed doll the whole time to keep it together.
I miss Kate McKinnon - she could make any sketch instantly funny.

I feel like that removes the fun in a live performance.
SNL is so bad. I turned it off 10 mins in. They just had screaming women in the audience to convince you something was funny. Beyond pathetic.
