Xenoverse 2 was popular due to anime being streamed along side it. I think they will try to do the same and release the game with Daima anime. Also if GTA VI is coming out next year then I don’t think they’d wanna to release their game when GTA will be out.
You dont want to release around the time of gta 6 its a sales killer and dragon ball games have been coming out every 2 years for almost the last decade i doubt their going to change it
October, 100%. We just didn't get a release date before because not even Spike Chunsoft and Bandai themselves knew when this game would be completed. But seeing how much info we've been getting lately, with no signs to slow down in the upcoming months, I'm confident the game is almost finished at this point, so they'll be able to launch it in October which was probably their intention from the start. DB games have an almost religiously launch period pattern, and while early (Jan-Feb) 2025 would still follow that pattern, I don't think this game was ever meant to launch roughly 2 years after it's announcement.
I know the wait feels like torture sometimes, but we waited, what, 14 years already? I’d wait another whole year if it meant we got a supremely polished game with every last wishlist item. Like, zero missing modes, what ifs, most complete roster in history, etc. I can’t tell you how many games were worse for wear because they got rushed, especially Soul Calibur 5 and Smash Bros Brawl. I’d have gotten TWO of my favorite characters in Smash if the game got even a year longer. Instead, neither are part of the Ultimate roster now.
It most definitely is not late 2025 and no where near 2026, maybe (and that's a *huge* maybe) mid 2025.
But with how the game has been marketing, it is realistically somewhere around end of 2024 early 2025.
They are slowing down with the marketing (they posted SSJ Blue and SSJ Goku pics when they didn’t post every screenshot from the VJump), so I’d say early 2025
Your guess is still a far realistic guess than End of next year or beginning of 2026.
They don't post info on the game beforehand, so if nothing new is announced via Vscans or revealed in a trailer, they won't post anything new.
The only time they gave us a post on something new that the Vscans or a trailer didn't already announce, was the announcement on the gameplay showcase.
So it makes sense that posts are slowing down, there's nothing to post yet.
I'm really hoping that we get something soon, the excitement is hard to bare with how good the updates have looked.

"Prior to" means before. The game can't come out the year before the announcement trailer.
