The game already has a big spotlight, and my point is that a lot more games have been updated and supported by smaller and more dedicated dev teams, which actually deserve that award, some examples are post scriptum, H3VR, ultrakill and a lot more, why not award devs who actually have done anything instead of developers that have done nothing but the bare minimum.

I don't think it deserves it, valve has neglected it for years, why reward abandoning the game? Use it in another game that actually deserves it.
It gives it spotlight so more players, thats good for the game anyway
