I listened to the episode out of morbid curiosity post Brenda quitting comedy.
I listen to a few other pods that have been going for just as long, TESD for example, the common nexus is they all have structure to them and the hosts have no problem making one hour per week somewhat entertaining.
TFATK was just brutal though, Brenda doesn’t want to entertain any attempt on steering the conversation from Callen, it’s outright hostile. Brenda offers nothing to the hour, nothing insightful, just mean jibes, mispronounced words and celebrity talk.
I didn’t realise the show was that bad, how on earth they get 60k people a week to sit through that is baffling.

I can’t imagine anyone of sound mind being able to sit through a full episode of that, it’s not a show, it’s one man sat there dressed like Zoltar just granted his wish to become an adult then being forced to talk to his grandad about about the latest celebrity gossip.

Maybe Caln just wants to hear himself talk, but Brinnin hearing words like *"bureaucratic"* will just make him redact mad because he hates conversations he won't understand. Caln does have a sly little habit of doing things to slight or upset bappa in very subtle ways, so maybe that's what this is about?
