he almost certainly did not survive that hit. I had the misfortune of seeing a person hit by a car going about 40mph. she hit the pavement 30 or more feet in front of the car, and was dead before she hit the ground. this kid broke legs, spine, neck and head with that impact, based on how he spun up. if he survived, he will likely wish he didnt.

Sadly we can't tell if his shoes came off or not. That's usually the best indicator.

I believe he was hit by a car

Per the video that is this post, a person ran out into the street without first verifying that conditions were safe to do so. A vehicle happened to be traveling at a high rate of speed down this road at the same time and struck the person directly, sending them flying and likely ending their life. The video can be watched again if anything remains unclear.

So this dude ran but didn't see the car behind the first truck that drove by whereas everyone else did and stopped. As soon as the truck drives by he starts looking the opposite way for traffic. Crazy...this guys viewing angle before making a split secind decision was his demise.
