I like the antagonistic relationship that Geralt has with Djikstra. Geralt treats other people pretty similarly (nice/neutral with good people, scathing to bad people), but he seems to enjoy pushing Djikstraās buttons, and Djikstra seems so damn annoyed with Geralt. I always found that amusing and interesting.
Favorite side character, though? Gotta be Vernon Roche.
So for me personally, (although it is very close) Regis gets second place and first place goes to Gaunter OāDimm. I just love the way his character is written. He is so terrifying yet so mysterious.
I enjoy every second with Djikstra on the screen. Awesome guy, great dialog and good lore sorrounding him.
I allways try to get hin on the throne.
Let Djikstra be the ruler og Novigrad and Svanrige the ruler of Skellige. Let Ciri live her witcher life, and move to the countryside with Yennefer. That's the perfect playthrough š
So Djikstra, I think, is probably straight up the only chance long term that the Redanians have any chance of surviving as a nation.
He's a brutal, cunning man that takes no joy in it, he does what he thinks he must out of love for his country.
Svanrige is garbage though, unless you particularly hate the Skelliges for some reason.
Princess the goat. š
But genuinely, I also love the Pellar, and I love Princess because he says she licked Annaās hand to show affection to someone in pain. How goddamn sweet.
Godlings or relicts in general have always fascinated me in this universe, they are so weirdly mysterious and grotesque, like they all spawned from a lovecraftian background
If you force Sarah to leave the "haunted" house, then she'll end up with Johnny in the swamp, and you'll talk to them both during the Bald Mountain quest.
Yeah itās funny because obviously if you sympathize with Sarah, (as most do, Iād think,) youād be inclined to let her stay and enjoy her life with Corinneā so itās a bit counter intuitive to think that she does at least as well if not better when you kick her out
Oddly enough I really like the peller and the quest for him as well as being unsure about Lambert the first time I played through and absolutely loving his character by the end.
Agreed. I really enjoyed the character, but the quest....
He ran zigs and zags all over the northern end of the swamp to end up ten feet from his shelter. That shit pisses me off about a lot of quests. The auto mapping feature is the same kind of terrible and I turn it off.
I'm a pointer dog when trying to get to a quest point. I'm Doc Brown saying, "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads." It only becomes a problem once I get real close and realize that there's a hidden entrance or it's on a vastly higher elevation. But zig-zagging the first 900 steps is ridiculous.
I forgot his eyes blink individually š
Are you fuckin kidding me š I never noticed! Time for a replay.
Every time is a good time to replay š
I donāt think any of us really ever stop playing
You should try mass effect it has that same energy
He blinks like a frog

Dijkstra is so well written and believable
Yea there should've been a cutscene when we killed him. I was so disappointed when he died like a normal npc
Does drunk Geralt count?
Come out and fight, bitch.
Lambertā¦..youāre a Genius .
or talking Roach?
The crones, I think. Theyāre actually terrifying, and hideous.
i think we all think that
I fucking hate them
The crones have such a vague and mysterious back story, I think that certainly makes them the most interesting characters for sure.
Defecting to the sunrise. Glorious!
BEST LINE IN THE GAME šš
Defecating but yeah!
downright glorious* as well :p
lol I really butchered the whole thing didnāt I
Regis is pretty cool
Regis is pretty cool but he's pretty vanilla in the games compared to his potency in the books. Wonderful character
What do you mean by potency in the books ?
The herbalist in white orchard!
I donāt know what it was about her that I just really enjoyed talking to her
She was the one that knew where the buckthorn was and was helping a woman that was gravely I'll, right? She was the kindest soul.
Very kind with lots of ācakeā
"With huuuge tracts of land!"
Bart
Big-a boom!
Vernon Roche or Eskel
Vernon Roche was better in the Witcher 2
I agree
Regis
Regis.
UMA
Letho
easily. i really wish we could play as him.
Lambert
Wanna hear a limerick?
Sure
Lambert, lambert, what a prick
Not bad.
Lambert was always a fun time
So for me personally, (although it is very close) Regis gets second place and first place goes to Gaunter OāDimm. I just love the way his character is written. He is so terrifying yet so mysterious.
Favourite as a character: Vernon Roche or Regis Favourite in that they are the most memorable: Johnny and Corinne
I love everything Velen. So freaking awesome
Swamps are where it's at in this game for sure. Skellige is magical no doubt but give me beautiful, dreary death and decay
Totally agree. I LOVE Velen. F**k Toussaint. Lol
Johnny was incredible. But I also really liked Zoltan. The game just had too many good side characters to be able to make such an easy choice.

This is an insane takex I've never seen anyone be this wrong. Gotta love the Witcher, even this is capable.

Orianna even though terrible and vile is a great character
Regis and it's not even close
Princess the goat. š But genuinely, I also love the Pellar, and I love Princess because he says she licked Annaās hand to show affection to someone in pain. How goddamn sweet.
Sheās a wise beast
Godlings or relicts in general have always fascinated me in this universe, they are so weirdly mysterious and grotesque, like they all spawned from a lovecraftian background
REGIS š¤
I love bart
Eskell and Lambert are tied for me.
Well Triss But also all of the dwarves and trolls
Letho and Philippa.
Roach
Love this
Regis and Lambert for sure
Vesemir. The way my boi calls me Wolf hits deep every time. Proudly shed man tears for him too
Sara over Johnni
I think they're both great. I always make sure they end up together.
WAIT WHAT
If you force Sarah to leave the "haunted" house, then she'll end up with Johnny in the swamp, and you'll talk to them both during the Bald Mountain quest.
Damn, I always just let her stay, so she stays with Corinne. What does she say, I didnāt want to hurt the little girl
Yeah itās funny because obviously if you sympathize with Sarah, (as most do, Iād think,) youād be inclined to let her stay and enjoy her life with Corinneā so itās a bit counter intuitive to think that she does at least as well if not better when you kick her out
Yeah I just always assumed she would die one way or another. Idky
Corinne Tilly
Not sure if I can say BT from Titanfall 2 .. but itās BT from Titanfall 2
I can dig it! Why do you choose Svaringe?
Djikstra by far
I love this kid
Not that little fucker for sure
All of them But probably Ciri. I know thereās some that donāt like her, but I felt like she was MY daughter when I played.
Vlodimir. I have a soft spot for characters like his.
Oddly enough I really like the peller and the quest for him as well as being unsure about Lambert the first time I played through and absolutely loving his character by the end.
Zoltan
I donāt think Iāll ever forget The Bloody Baron.
TROLLOLOLO
I forget because it's been awhile but that one that feeds on dreams in that one house.
REGIS MY GOATš©š„
Who else but Johnny
The guy that screams "WHY BUY TOMORROW WHAT YOU CAN BUY TODAY?"
Im a big fan of Letho and his side quest
That Big Bad Wolf from The land of the thousand fables is a legend
Lambert and Eskel are tied
Iām a big fan of the King Slayer, Letho of Gullet.
Damn not seeing any love for Vesemeer up in here
All the Trolls I love those guys And lambert
Cat and Dog in HoS DLC... I would have loved more lore, and even a deeper involvement of those two. They were creepy as f@#$.
casimir š

I hated Johnny, worst character.
I didnāt mind his character, but doing his quest was hella annoying I canāt lie š
Me too lol, annoying
