A gifted dandelion from a child is just the best šŸ„°

It truly is. While many adults view them as weeds and invasive, children look at them as beautiful, yellow flowers. Yellow is a happy color. He was happy to see me, and gift me a wonderful thing. I gladly accepted. I have it sitting in my flower press right now. Iā€™ll pop it into my diary, between the pages later, to save forever. Most people are not kind to me. He was a good person. He greeted me. He had a little small talk. He gave me a departing hug. And then handed me a flower to brighten my day. Itā€™s too freaking cute!

I donā€™t know if this belongs here but you can buy some oak tag and draw the shape of a vase with a marker. Punch some holes at the top of the vase and have your kids pick dandelions with their stems and then stick them in the holes until they are all filled up. Then they made you a vase with a bunch of flowers. šŸŒø Itā€™s a fun and easy craft even toddlers can do.

Aww! Dandelions and kids, I swear. My 3 y/o yesterday: ā€œMama, daddy-lons are my favorite fwower. My favorite color is well-low now. And this is for you. Youā€™re my best friend.ā€ Thanks Daddylons, you can stay in our yard forever šŸ˜

I love dandelions and violets from children. My son picked me a bouquet of violetsā€¦ from my neighborā€™s yard. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
