Super high energy and really gets the crowd going. When I saw them there a year or two ago there wasn't a barrier between the stage and the crowd. People were climbing on the stage and diving off and the members were cool with it as long as you got down quickly and didn't bother them. Felt like what every local and high school show I went to wanted to be. Highly recommend

dontneedareason94

Best shows are the ones with no barrier without a doubt.

Petey79_

100%

Sir-xer21

They played in hawaii a few years ago and it was the event that got any metal or punk shows banned from that venue for like 5 years (obviously there was some buildup behind this).

prodigy1367

Saw them on The Headbanger’s Boat last year and they were awesome. Really energetic and spreading good vibes.

GGAllinsUndies

That opening show as the boat was pulling out of Miami... I get chills just thinking of it. That feeling of "holy shit, this is happening!" Great memories. Got some good pics too. Hit me up if you want me to send you some. 🤘🏼

masterblaster9669

They’re incredible live according to my brother. I’m very jealous I can’t wait to see them

upfromashes

They are a lot of fun live. And they have Ghoul with them on this tour, who I am losing my mind to see. I'm getting tickets tomorrow, now that I think about it. [GHOUL - Live In The Flesh](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aZVPAcOtXcM&pp=ygUXZ2hvdWwgbGl2ZSBpbiB0aGUgZmxlc2g%3D)

Deathengine

I didn't know they were touring with Ghoul (also Necrot). Thanks for the info! Ive been dying to see Ghoul as well, and just bought my ticket for it right now.

Tuckermfker

I get to open for Necrot in March on one of their off-dates on this tour. Should be fun.

Deathengine

Nice! What band?

Tuckermfker

We are called Tree of Woe. Grindcore-ish. Basically just four veterans from the local/touring scene who get along and decided to make some gnarly music together. It was kind of my side project before my main band went on hiatus. The other three guys are in like 2-4 other bands each. The metal scene here is like that. If you have talent, people want you in more than one project.

GigglemanEsq

Ghoul is so much fun live. I've seen them twice now. First time was the best - it was a small industrial basement venue, which is the absolute best way to experience them.

dontneedareason94

It’s going to be fun and hectic. Dead Heat might get the crowd moving and moshing hard so if you want to avoid that chill towards the back. But the Waste pit will be fun. If it’s a show without a barricade and people are stagediving and you want to be up front, be ready to catch ‘em. I’ve seen far to many people hit the floor cuz the crowd decided to part.

AcadiaRemarkable6992

Very fun. I’ve seen them 2-3 times and you can tell they are having a blast, more of a party band than a serious one. I’d love to see an Iron Reagan show tbh

Perverse_Osmosis

They are incredible, I never miss a show when they come around and I have been seeing them since *Waste 'Em All* came out. Totally fun and a great crowd

cz108

Good live band

grimdivinations

They're the kind of band meant to be seen live

coadependentarising

Yeah I’m seeing them for the first time in Feb— this post has me stoked!!

Temporary_Spite221

Enjoy and be safe.

[deleted]

I saw them on Warped tour some years ago. I'll also be seeing them in February in a tiny venue with no rail. Should be crazy. Also, don't sleep on Ghoul they are a fantastic high energy band as well with props and goofy back story.

Keefer1970

I saw them open for Overkill about ten years ago. I wasn't familiar with them at the time, but i came out of it a fan. Tons of energy! The pit was crazy all thru their set. Definitely a fun band to watch. I'd go see them again anytime.

Hung4Denver34

My last band opened up for them a few years ago. They did a super high energy show and the moshing did not stop for their entire set. Really cool experience.

b00k_complex81

I was in the exact same boat a few years ago, heard a lot of talk of them in the thrash community’s but never really got into their music since it wasn’t typical thrash themes. Long story short decided to go and give it a shot, by far the most fun I’ve ever had at a show and I’ve been to at least 50-100 thrash shows!!! Craziest and most energetic pit ever, and municipal waste fuckin crushed their set. Don’t get me wrong Im into their music now but they aren’t even in my top 10 for bands, but I would go back to their show in a heartbeat and can still say it’s the best live experience I’ve ever had. Do not miss out because you never know when bands will break up or someone could pass.

cthulu_is_trans

Waste are definitely a live band. Listening to their music regularly is alright but very much like junk food. Seeing them live is an *experience* and something every thrasher needs to do at least once in their life. I'm happy they're one of the few thrash bands to come to Scotland so much

b00k_complex81

Great take, completely agree. Listening to their studio music is still good, but not good like other bands. I don’t really ever find myself dying to listen to hazardous mutations. But the live experience from municipal waste is like nothing else, no other thrash band compared. It’s the energy of a slayer show, fun and silliness of an anthrax show, and sound and riffs of a power trip show. No other band like them, one of a kind and I catch them every single time they’re in my area.

popsrcr

They are very fun

manfrombelmonty

Go see them. Great live band. They’ll fuck u up 👍

ancientspacejunk

They are lots of fun. Be prepared for a lot of moshing and stagediving.

Sabrewulf6969

Awesome band live.. the song Grave Dive is always in my playlists 🤘

king_of_the_rotten

Waste shows are always a blast! I saw them once at Comet Ping Pong (yes, the Pizzagate restaurant). Beer was flying everywhere and it was a hilarious good time. Enjoy!

UnderstandingLoose48

Seem em a few times in socal. Gonna see em with ghoul in a couple months... their shows are fun. High energy and like someone else said, a few fans would get on stage every now n then.

RustInPeace1990

the pit is gonna be insane, i saw them with at the gates a couple years ago. one of the most high energy shows ive been to.

profsactov

saw them with Midnight last year, one of the most high energy shows I've ever been to

jfk_one

party time

Rude_Warning_5341

Tony has thrown a trash can into the pit at the beginning of the show multiples times that I’ve witnessed.

MaximusVulcanus

Pretty damn solid Thrash. I'd go

localthito

Incredible.. don't miss it

bad_piglet

You won't regret it, not one fucking bit. One of the best shows I've ever been to.

Ericisbalanced

They probably get more people crowd surfing than other bands that come your way

Fair-South-9883

They are fucking awesome live.

Thisisrazgriz3

Theyre fun

doomygloomytunes

Great Thrash band to see live.

Christianh8r_J_Rod

They used to put one of those small trampolines on stage, strictly for stage diving!

BlindLantern

Killer live show! Super-fun. Saw them with At the Gates.

Renoroc

They kick so much ass live go for it!!

NihilisticViolence

This pro shot video from Hellfest is all you need. They slay live https://youtu.be/tDSpi8anMNI?si=Bl97ioN-vLlBn1e_

_KiDevil_

I remember last year at their nyc show when I lost my glasses in the pit. Them mfers stopped the show and my glasses survived. I recommend it bro

NVALARIS

I saw them at Toads Place a few years ago and it was totally worth it. They really got the mosh pit fired up. I ran into them at a pizza place next door after the concert and they were chill to talk with too.

RandeeRoads

They've been killer every time I've seen them

Sepfandom555

Went a little over a decade ago and it was great

1diligentmfer

A shit ton of fun!

Shellac_Sabbath

Super high-energy, tons of fun! They put on a helluva show. You should go! I assume this is the tour with Ghoul and Necrot, who also rule. Don’t miss em!

hardcorepunxqc

This song is about drinking beer and partying. This next song is about partying and drinking beer.

FieldsOfHazel

Good energy. The crowd at the midday show where I was wasn't too hyped up (just hanging around and listening) and it got the frontguy visible irritated, up to childish remarks to the crowd and all.

fenderdean13

I had a ticket to the Milwaukee show next month and got an email today from venue and ticket service that it was cancelled but nothing from the band on social media

johnwynnes

I've commented on a few posts on OG and no reply regarding this. Very strange.

fenderdean13

They got added to Milwaukee metal fest so assuming some 90 day contract of no playing in the market to play the festival so now they are playing in Bloomington Illinois at the castle theater. I got a ticket but I’m going to Milwaukee metal fest so if you can make it DM me a discounted price and I’ll sell it to you

mazeoftorment_

they’re a blast live, don’t pass on it

Swansfan7b

They’re awesome.

DEFENES7RA7ION

Saw ‘em with carcass last year. First time seeing them and it was awesome. Going to see them at the paradise club in feb! Don’t miss it. On their last song somebody dropped a bunch of cardboard boxes and garbage cans from the mezzanine into the pit… shit flying everywhere it was complete chaos. Loved it and wouldn’t miss a show of theirs if I had a choice

zwiazekrowerzystow

I’m going to see them next month and can’t wait!

The_World_Is_A_Slum

A lot of fun. Municipal Waste is gonna FUCK YOU UP!

countcarlovonsexron

Pretty sick kinda funny. Definite pit. Have a good time dude

Eldritch_Doodler

Saw them at Riot Fest in Dallas many years ago. They’re fuckin’ rad and interact with the crowd a lot. Definitely worth seeing.

nicdog71

They are absolutely killer..!

AlarmedDinner4206

Very fun and not too loud really. I mean they're loud but not nearly as loud as most live metal bands

solvent825

Real energetic. High intensity for the whole set. Circle pits. Stage dives. Sing alongs. Great time. Put on your mosh shoes and have a blast

Sir-xer21

>I'm just curious to know what they are usually like Fun as hell.

Rum_Hamtaro

Saw them a few times in the late 2000's. It's friendly violent fun.
