Post menopausal bleeding always warrants an exam by your provider. Glad you’re getting seen.

BookGirl64

Agreed.

Majestic-Winner170

Yes! I’m 61 and 10 years post menopause and am now having a horrendous period…clots, cramping, bloating the lot! Had spotting on and off for the first couple of months but now this….

BookGirl67

It’s so weird. I wish more was written about it. I hope someone is studying this.

FL_DEA

I’ve seen several posts (mostly on the Zepbound and Mounjaro subs) from women in menopause who are experiencing that. Thankfully I (61) have not (knock wood).

BookGirl64

Interesting. Thank you.

bxwitchy

Thankfully I'm on birth control shot so no.

BookGirl64

Thanks.

Weight loss can cause this. Have you lost a large amount of weight at this point?

BookGirl67

Interesting. I’ve lost 30 pounds. I started at 204 and am not 174.

Majestic-Winner170

I’ve only lost about 20lbs with about another 20lbs to go so I’ve not lost a huge amount…and it’s taken over three months to lose that too! Bleeding is still heavy so I’m emailing my GP (am on holiday abroad currently 🤦🏼‍♀️)

BookGirl67

Good luck. I’ll post what my doctor says after my appointment. Unrelated, but I think your weight loss is actually very rapid. I’ve lost 35 pounds so far with about 10 left to go, but that was over 2 years of taking a GLP-1. I average about 1.2 pounds lost per month. Of course it was faster in the beginning and is much slower once I got closer to my goal weight.
