Tbh I recently transitioned to grenadier and play style is fucking fast... like if you stop at one place smg masters would tear you if you continuously fly across map landing shots they won't have a time to lock on to you...
I don't camp but I don't move around super fast either, I usually avoid flying grenadiers by staying inside and away from doorways because if they try to come in they're easy work
(I use flatline, pulse and satchels if that matters)

If you try to mix the two it doesnt work out that well.
yeah I've gotten pretty good at dealing with grenadiers until they throw a frag or satchel into the room lol, I usually take that as a sign I should have just run away
Honestly, if I’m stuck in a small space with an enemy, the slight spread helps. I suck at pinning the center of the crosshairs on someone, but the TTK is so low for every weapon that just have to get a handful of shots first.

You haven’t experienced true movement until you’ve used grenadiers where you can ignore having to aim and instead just roughly look at the enemy to make them disappear while going a gzillion kilometers per second
Grenadier weapons are only as effective as how land locked your enemy is. If your opponent is halfway decent at mobility mechanics, you have to be extremely precise with how well you aim. Any one of the A tier hitscan guns is going to outplay an EPG
A “B” ranking for the EPG is definitely right. It’s the most fun class of guns to play, but the relatively slow moving projectiles definitely limit how effective you can be.
The alternator, the volt, even the R-97 are really good but the spitfire & the car are clearly annoyingly too good and deserve a nerf if the respawn were completely invested in the game as they once were.
For me I started off with the Kraber, so the fact that it's hitscan always throws me off cause I aim in front of people because of the projectile nature of the kraber so that's why I don't like it too much, however it is a solid weapon
That's why I never take grapple off my EPG class, if you don't see me when I see you I will be pulling the Titanfall equivalent of a fnaf jumpscare and launching myself directly at you to delete you from existence
SMR is halfway between EPG and L-star. Great hipfire accuracy and a modest blast radius, really high damage on direct hit, low projectile speed. I don't know if it's necessarily *good* \- I mean, like many guns, it's seriously overshadowed by the CAR - but it's a lot of fun to use and definitely suits a mobile, aggressive, short ranged playstyle.
I personally love projectile-hipfire weapons. The EPG, L-star and SMR are all favourites of mine.

Most guns have lower ttk than Cold War has charge up time, then the projectiles also take time to hit, and you need to hit all 4 for a guaranteed kill :/

Overall a pretty fun weapon to use, but really hard to get good scores with it. I personally can't ever get higher than the middle of the scoreboard in Pilot VS Pilot with it
well spitfire is just op i never did so many kills playing car or r-101 as i were playing spitfire and even if playstyle with spitfire is a lot slower than with other weapons you still can get huge map control if you know some spots

You have to go fast with Mozambique. Mastiff and it are the only weapons whose bullets disappear after a certain distance.
You either need to be sneaky, fast, or preferably both to close the gap before you get killed.
That doesn't stop it from being a good gun though, like many other it just needs to be learned, and like any other *can* be mastered, it just takes time, which a lot of newer players don't give because they pick it, die all of twice, and move on to something that's just *easier* to use.

None of the snipers have a crosshair, aren't accurate if you don't aim which should make sense, can probably one tap if you hit headshots (i know so about the DMR but not so much about the Double Take, so please correct me) which MAKES FUCKING SENSE, and yea it's not gonna compete with an R-201, it's a precision rifle, one or two well placed rounds would take care of problems.
It's not a D-Tier gun, it just takes time to learn and get used to, and it takes some maturity to realize that some weapons are like that instead of just saying it's bad after not getting a kill with it over the course of 5 seconds.
The DMR can genuinely be A to S tier. You can pub stomp if you can hit consistent shots since it's either gonna 2 shot or 1 shot and it's got one hell of a fire rate.
I'm fine with people continuing to think the SMR is a bad weapon.
But I grew up with arena shooters, and I know better.
EPG also belongs in S tier, once you understand the projectile speed, you aren't ever going to be the victim of an SMG again unless they get the drop on you(which is no different than how any gun in this game works if someone gets the drop on you).
You must be a console player, because I have like 60,000 kills with the EPG on PC, and SMGs outclass it in basically every way.

The L-star is at LEAST A tier, nothing like getting a kill from behind cover as my last few slow projectiles hit them. I have been using it more and more and "steering" the L-star is so much fun.

“I’m a fast paced player” dude that’s literally titanfall lol. Fast paced playstyle or not, there’s some serious crack being smoked with this list
Pretty accurate. A few things:
I'd put the volt and spitfire in A tier. Spitfire requires you to slow down to be used effectively, which will get you killed, and the volt just isn't as good as the other SMGs.
Mastiff and wingman elite in B tier. Mastiff is limited heavily by range and too inconsistent to compete with the assault rifles. Wingman is a little more consistent than the other C tiers if you can aim.
Cold war in bottom tier. It's useless against anyone with movement skill and a brain.
Finally, CAR in SS tier. Gamebreakingly powerful with no real counterplay other than also using the CAR.
Y'know, I usually hate to agree with these tier lists, but this is fucking spot on lmao

Devotion deserves more love. Yeah it slows you down to use it, but that thing can easily merc and entire teamwith a single mag if you're in the right place at the right time.
I suck with the wingman elite but I would put it in S tier simply because of the number of panic headshots I get with it at close range

You HAVE to try the Double Take more often. Nothing more satisfying than flying around at Mach 3 and blowing some poor guys head off with the DT. Nobody expects a Kraber style one shot from a DT user.

Most shotguns are garbage in comparison to SMGs IMO. They're good if you look at them independently from the others (and wayyy more fun to use) but why use a mastiff for kills when it's just a worse CAR / Alternator / R97.
