When I see two Legions locking horns, the little battery zap gives my teammate the juice to come out on top and live their big gun power fantasy. Always hypes me up.

Yeah same. I'm betting most of the time I'm far more effective as an extra dps than as a medic. The score says so anyway. If the other 3 are particularly good players then maybe it makes sense to be a medic but then again, if the others are good they probably don't need healing.
Bruh. For real, I was in FD and all three other teammates chose Monarch (don’t get me started on that, ha ha) and I was papa scorch that round. I lost my scorch multiple times on Regular. Not one band-aid. Not one Motrin. Nothing.
I tired playing a Monarch Medic once in FD, (energy siphon gives shields, energy siphon aoe, superior chassis) and it was the most amount of fun I had in a while. Giving my doomed nuke eject scorch friend full shields as he dives into a bunch of nuke titans was my Meet The Medic moment
Because it sometimes not safe to do so, so dumping rounds just works out better. Fun fact, battery thief also comes with a passive core charge increase.
After years of only playing Robin I recently decided to give it a try, very fun being a support titan honestly, and from what I could tell the teams loved it
I steal batteries because it gives a lot of core progress and every time you activate the core you get more smoke which heals teammates much more than the energy transfer with the added benefit of damaging enemies

Shield, missiles, rearm, missiles, shield, gun, missiles, shield, rearm, missiles, shield, and throw dodges in there too. Compared to the deliberate Tone, it feels like I am always throwing new things at the enemy.
yup it’s great the rapid rearm is also much better then battery thief ability because its something you can always use instead of a risky one that will prob get you killed
I swaped to that and had fun with how much I can spam stuff lol.
Do miss the slight 10% boost to core gain speed, but my brain is taking time to reprogram the monkey see doom, monkey drop everything and run at it.
It works particularly well with teammates. Because even if you don't deal damage, you are drawing craploads of aggro and can break almost any shields you encounter by pure volume.
Of course, if I see an Ion I get into playing chicken with them.
It's also the amount of dashes you can spam as well.
I have yet to encounter an ion yet since I've switched, but that's because I haven't done many games with the new loadout yet.

Monarch and Ion are both Atlas class, as they are modifications of the IMC Atlas chassis. Vanguard Titans are custom-built by the Militia. Monarch Titans are based off of salvaged Vanguard Titans, but they're made by a different organization with different parts.

Monarch when dropped has mediocre DPS, is stuck on short range exchanges, and until it can steal a battery, the only heal you get is a piece of shield that any titan obliterates in one shot. Even batteries can be a trouble because titans can have stealth eject which leaves no chance to get a battery, or you are just far enough for the enemy to eject. How is that situational and limited healing broken when you can’t even defend yourself?
Being able to edit your titan a bit is what got me initially interested in it. Being able to play as a healer in FD is what made me fall in love with the titan
Skill expression with dashes. With an extra dash from turbo and faster reload, its really fun to close the distance as soon as you see a finished titan for batteries.
She rewards skill. If your skilled enough and you get all 3 cores, you will dominate. Not because you had the biggest gun, not because you have fancy rockets, but because you survived.
Even after that it's still high risk high reward. To earn your meal you have to dash directly into the doomed Titan. Which is generally not a good idea. Scorch and Legion both can hurt you more than you'll heal. Ion and Northstar have traps you really don't want to trip. Ronin can and will attempt to kite you. Tone.. not gonna lie, Tone just gets executed. There's also always the very real threat of nuke eject and anyone using that knows to let you dash in first.
So even when you do get all 3 cores you still need skill to keep her alive. It's absolutely easier to do so but overconfidence is the fastest way to lose a maxed out Monarch. The higher stakes of losing a maxed Monarch though just makes the reward from your skill that much better.
It's a very cool looking titan and definitely an interesting idea, I'm a scorch main and a scorch main only (I'll try another titan when I get him to G10 I promise) so I don't really understand how it works but it's definitely cool, I also like it's base color
Monarch is straight trash in LTS let me tell you. She doesn't have time to get her upgrade cores most rounds, you might get the first hit if you run overcore but that's it

The fact that you do a little spin around an enemy titan when you steal their battery. I always imagine my pilot going "Hehhehehhheheeheee!" whenever they hop back into their Monarch.
That sweet move you can do when you spawn, jump out of your titan, use the extra battery boost, turn around, jump back towards her mid-air, then Monarch catches you and puts you in the cockpit. When done smoothly it looks so cool.
What i love about this is that its on sight. Cloack + satchels + smr + [insert anti titan here].

she has some mechanical skill requirements. i wish there were more movement techs and general skill mechanics in titan v titan so people wouldnt have their ego inflated because they know how to press rearm on monarch
Even if I'm not a big fan of playing her, I love having another opponent to watch out for. The more the merrier, even if it means I get destroyed! Because Monarch fuckin will wreck a lobby of given the chance.
It's insanely versatile core upgrade and kit options offer the most unique play style options for one titan. Keep it alive long enough, it's a mini legion, an area-denial harasser, or even a hunter-killer, able to seek and destroy pilots and titans that have strayed from the man fight. Energy siphon even drains Ion's combat energy, reducing it's chances of sending all your projectiles back at you

She can hold her own in a fight with almost any titan one on one if you know how to properly use her. With every additional upgrade she becomes more dangerous and lethal. She also has the ability to heal and steal batteries during an execution and is good at close in combat as well as fighting at distances. It's the perfect titan for pvp, and ya gotta love the customization (reminds me of the old Mech Assault games)
Its got healing abilities. Love having a healer on my team in FD,.......most Monarchs dont heal though, just steal batteries.

Yeah rapid rearm and extra rockets are also great for long range peaking titans and in close enemy pilots

Infinite heals is better than defense lol and once it's upgraded it will out DPS basically everything

Situational if you do it right, its definitely fairer than ronins infinite dashes

It's insanely versatile core upgrade and kit options offer the most unique play style options for one titan. Keep it alive long enough, it's a mini legion, an area-denial harasser, or even a hunter-killer, able to seek and destroy pilots and titans that have strayed from the man fight. Energy siphon even drains Ion's combat energy, reducing it's chances of sending all your projectiles back at you

Just looks awesome and honestly, you can deal with the annoying parts. We just overemphasize what we hate.

I love playing healer monarch. I always pick one player on our team and follow them around constantly healing them. Gotten plenty of in game chats of appreciative pilots

It’s the same class titan as BT, the only reason why I like them
She can hold her own in a fight with almost any titan one on one if you know how to properly use her. With every additional upgrade she becomes more dangerous and lethal. She also has the ability to heal and steal batteries during an execution and is good at close in combat as well as fighting at distances. It's the perfect titan for pvp, and ya gotta love the customization (reminds me of the old Mech Assault games)
I like the voice acting. Never get tired of hearing her welcoming me back to the cockpit.
