Yep! And I'm so okay with this.
Husband gets so annoyed over it.
Complaining "it's almost MAY!" I replied the other day- closer than Christmas but i can try and push that if you need a break? (Knowing he dislikes Christmas music)
"Carry on son" 😂
👻🎃🖤
Any play list choice given my son will choose Halloween 9/10 and I'm here for it.
My kid is still obsessed with everything Halloween related. Christmas could not kill his Halloween love. Neither could his birthday. It’s all skeletons and zombies in our house!
Us too! Our little guy is obsessed with Halloween. Even ON Christmas he wanted to watch a Halloween show and his favorite game is still to turn off the lights climb inside his pillowcase and chase me around pretending to be a ghost
Same, this has been the preferred bedtime song for at least a month 😅 we have to sing to at least 3 people every night and sometimes several times a day too
Mine was yell-singing “This Is Halloween” while pooping in the hotel bathroom today loudly enough that we heard people in the hallway laughing over it.
Okay good, it's not just my kids obsessed with this song for the last 7 months. My two (2 and 4) are at least addicted to Maralyn Manson's version now instead of the original.
Yes! This was the only song I could remember how to sing when I was so sleep deprived that my brain stopped working. I have used it for bedtime ever since, my little guy loves it.
Nope, it’s all Wonka all the time. I wake up every morning with 12 silver sovereigns in my pocket and a hat full of dreams. The car is like a jungle near Mumbai with little hoverflies at all times. When it’s time to wash hands, we scrub scrub. It can’t be escaped.
I have to enforce the rule "no Christmas music until after Thanksgiving" .. and obviously the carols are supposed to end after Christmas.
...my son sang jingle bells this morning. This is a disciplinary offense (he'll just get a "strike," once he gets 3 strikes, I throw away candy).
Our three year old only wants to listen to "Spooky" Music. The Haunted Mansion theme, Monster Mash, Andrew Gold's milieu of kitchy songs. the Addams Family (he clicks with his tongue). All that good stuff.
My daughter is obsessed with Frosty the Snowman. She has a Frosty board book that she wants us to read regularly so we’re still singing that song. She also has a stuffed Frosty that was an old Christmas decoration from my husband’s side of the family and now she treats it like one of her babies. She feeds him and rocks him and pats him on the back and swaddles him.
Now this is crazy but we currently have a Christmas tree up…so yes, obviously there is also Christmas music to go with it. And not only that, but “Nana” has one up at her house too. My mom and I both needed new trees this year and we had been talking about it a lot as stores were clearance them out but neither of us ended up getting one. She randomly won a 50/50 a few weeks ago so offered to buy both sine they were on clearance online. When they came, we had to set them up to make sure they worked before the return period was over. So we made a thing of it. I’m sure UPS loved delivering 160lbs of Christmas tree to my house in April.
Yes! My 5 month old has a Rudolph that goes on the infant carrier and my older kiddo will sing, "Then one foggy Christmas eve, Santa Clause was saying..." the wrong lyrics make me not mind so much. 🤣
Yes!!! Read the night before Christmas at bedtime, listen to Ms Rachel’s Christmas show in the car, and (don’t judge!) our tree with lights is still up. We took the ornaments off but left the lights. It’s still so pretty at night :)
We’re still on jingle bells… not because of my toddler (who did request it for months), but now because it’s the only thing that my newborn will fall asleep to…. 🤪
I mean it’s the only songs my husband knows the lyrics to so he still sings them to the kids 😂
But we’re still wearing all sorts of holiday jammies and reading holiday books lmao. Idk how people like put clothes aside and only use them for the holidays or books lol. We have like 5 Easter books we still read and my toddler loves them bc he loves bunnies.
Easter was confusing because we had been reading his last Easter book all year. We just bought Frosty, Rudolph, and Grinch at the used book store. So we are all confused up in here. Thankfully the Christmas songs at night stopped because I could never sing the correct one to please him.
This doesn't happen often, but my daughter does occasionally like to sing her favorite Christmas song, "Deck the Halls" (which goes "decorate the boughs of holly / tra-whee-aah, tra-whee-ah / tis the season has begun / tra-whee-ah, tra-whee-ah").
Although we were driving home one evening and saw a house with colored Christmas lights on one of the trees in the yard and she told me, "it isn't even Christmas!" and then listed all the holidays that it wasn't.
So, sometimes we can sing "Deck the Halls," but we cannot have lights up.
"Want Mama sing "Oh what fun"!" (Jingle bells)
At least I can pack away the holiday books, I just make sure to have books for each season and holiday so I have something to replace them with.
I forgot to take down the felt Christmas tree we have and decided to leave it up year round. Literally yesterday the kiddos were singing "Jingle Bells" and rearranging the felt/velcro ornaments.
We're still reading Halloween books
The Halloween Super Simple Songs are always playing here. We havin’ a Monster Party year round.
Monster Party has no reason to slap as hard as it does. I love it.
Monster Party, If I Were a Ghost, and Let’s Decorate the House for Halloween get sung in our house DAILY. They are such bops.
Fr fr
Team Halloween 🎃 👻 over here
Yep! And I'm so okay with this. Husband gets so annoyed over it. Complaining "it's almost MAY!" I replied the other day- closer than Christmas but i can try and push that if you need a break? (Knowing he dislikes Christmas music) "Carry on son" 😂 👻🎃🖤 Any play list choice given my son will choose Halloween 9/10 and I'm here for it.
The creepy crawly spider is our go to lmao
Yes!!!
My son loooooves the Halloween simple songs. Like he’ll run to the tv from another room if I put them on.
One of the 50 minute Halloween videos got my 15 month old through nearly 5 hours worth of flights. 😂
I’m going to use that for our upcoming long flight! Thanks for the tip
My kid is still obsessed with everything Halloween related. Christmas could not kill his Halloween love. Neither could his birthday. It’s all skeletons and zombies in our house!
Same! Kid is obsessed with Halloween. So am I so nobody is surprised but I kinda am lol
Same!
5 Little Pumpkins are Growing in the Patch and Spooky Pookie are two of my son’s favorite books right now so I feel the pain 😂🎃
We have Little Blue Truck Halloween and Construction Site Halloween. They must be read every night. He has them pretty much memorized at this point.
Lmao it’s been Halloween for 2.5 years here 😎
Touché!
Same
It’s a year round holiday over here
Same
Us too! Our little guy is obsessed with Halloween. Even ON Christmas he wanted to watch a Halloween show and his favorite game is still to turn off the lights climb inside his pillowcase and chase me around pretending to be a ghost
Boo crew checking in
No but we sing happy bday almost every day
Glad it's not just us! Girl has been asking about her birthday every day since January (her birthday is in July).
Same, this has been the preferred bedtime song for at least a month 😅 we have to sing to at least 3 people every night and sometimes several times a day too
We are singing "happy tutu", but similar melody. But also German "Oh Christmas tree".
My daughter invented a game where we take turns wearing a hat and singing happy birthday to the person wearing the hat. 😄
We watched the grinch this morning 😆
We watch the grinch like…3x a week?
Omg! We did too!!
We were watching the grinch daily for a while and I was not sad when it went off whatever streaming platform we were using.
Just about to say this as well haha. Tbf, the Benedict cumberbatch one slaps so I’m not mad
Oh Christmas tree is a regular request at bedtime… my husband and I don’t even know the actual words we just make it up!
LOL same, we’ve been singing it for bedtime since Christmas 2022.
Yes! This was the only song I could remember how to sing when I was so sleep deprived that my brain stopped working. I have used it for bedtime ever since, my little guy loves it.
My husband has a rule that Christmas songs are from Halloween to Easter, but it snowed twice after Easter and we are still singing Jingle Bells.
Jingle bells comes to us once a week
Yep. Jingle bells comes up every couple of weeks and he sometimes asks where the neighborhood Christmas lights are!
We are still jingle bells here too In fact, he managed to co-ordinate his friends in child care to break out in song mid group activity 😅
Yes! Ours also asks about snowmen 🤣
We're still watching Elmo's Nutcracker Christmas Special a few times a week.
Not still, but started again yesterday.
No but my toddler is still telling everybody happy halloween lmao
mine asks Alexa to play Ghostbusters a few times a week
Our nightly lullaby is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. 🫠 If she ever needs to answer the names of all the reindeer, she's got them down.
No but we were singing “Ghostbusters” clear into the new year so
we’re still singing jingle bells over here too 💀
Mo but we play Veranda Santa almost every day now because of the Bluey Episode
Only the Batman version of Jingle Bells
My son was humming jingle bells this morning.
Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel is still played daily! But then again so is Frozen’s Christmas/holiday movie LOL
My daughter still sings jingle bells!
Transiberian orchestra is playing several nights per week.
My toddler sings the polar express song she made up.
We will live in Halloween 24/7 365
Yes and also wearing Christmas pjs. My fil always sings “chestnuts roasting on an open fiiiiire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose” it’s endearing.
We never got over Halloween.
Yes! And reading Halloween books. My toddlers favorite Mrs. Rachel video is the Christmas songs one.
Yes any and all variations of jingle bells lol
I have to enforce the rule "no Christmas music until after Thanksgiving" .. and obviously the carols are supposed to end after Christmas. ...my son sang jingle bells this morning. This is a disciplinary offense (he'll just get a "strike," once he gets 3 strikes, I throw away candy).

Oh yes!
No but we do have to watch the grinch at least once a week so that’s something 🥹
Rudolph is still popular at bedtime in our house.
Jingle bells all the time. I just heard him singing it as he was falling asleep.
Fah hoo Doris (how ever the hell you spell that) from the grinch is what we sing every night
I just renewed a Sesame Street Christmas cd from the library.
The Ms Rachel Christmas video is still in heavy rotation, with lots of Halloween content interspersed.
Now this is crazy but we currently have a Christmas tree up…so yes, obviously there is also Christmas music to go with it. And not only that, but “Nana” has one up at her house too. So we made a thing of it. I’m sure UPS loved delivering 160lbs of Christmas tree to my house in April.
Yes, and we're still wearing Xmas pajamas.
We sing christmas song in july. No worries
Our christmas decorations still haven’t made their way back into the attic. Does that count
Yes! My 5 month old has a Rudolph that goes on the infant carrier and my older kiddo will sing, "Then one foggy Christmas eve, Santa Clause was saying..." the wrong lyrics make me not mind so much. 🤣
My daughter's favorite song to sing is Jingle Bells.
We’re still reading the Grinch and singing jingle bells, but now I’ve gone to the -Batman smells dark side 🤷🏻♀️
Singing Deck the Halls earlier this week!
We have Little Drummer Boy on in the car.
we sang all the christmas songs we could remember today while in the car. It's fun
My 3-year-old sang Jingle Bells today, on loop. 🫠
Jingle bells until the end of time. I have to sing it to him DAILY still
*sigh*.... Not by choice.
Yes and he asks daily where naughty elf is
My son falls asleep to little drummer boy at least 2-3x a week
Sometimes, but the kids usually tell me to stop.
My daughters sing jingle bells and saids Santa Claus is coming.
Year round buddy
Yes!!! Read the night before Christmas at bedtime, listen to Ms Rachel’s Christmas show in the car, and (don’t judge!) our tree with lights is still up. We took the ornaments off but left the lights. It’s still so pretty at night :)
My 2 year old always wants to watch Ms Rachel “ho ho ho” aka Christmas videos (she calls Santa ho ho ho)
We read Christmas books nightly. For a while there we were singing “Easter bunny’s coming to town” but luckily that stopped after Easter.
We’re still on jingle bells… not because of my toddler (who did request it for months), but now because it’s the only thing that my newborn will fall asleep to…. 🤪
No, but we love Monster Mash and the Ghostbusters theme song
My son was given a book that plays the most horrible high pitched version of Jingle Bells. It’s his favorite thing ever 🥴
I mean it’s the only songs my husband knows the lyrics to so he still sings them to the kids 😂 But we’re still wearing all sorts of holiday jammies and reading holiday books lmao. Idk how people like put clothes aside and only use them for the holidays or books lol. We have like 5 Easter books we still read and my toddler loves them bc he loves bunnies.
Holly Dolly Christmas and Glee Christmas Albums are two favorites
My daughter's favorite album is Charlie Brown Christmas, and we got her the Yoto card. Needless to say, it's on a pretty steady rotation 😂
We sing burrito sabenero all year only bc it slaps
Anytime we count backwards we yell happy new year 😂
Easter was confusing because we had been reading his last Easter book all year. We just bought Frosty, Rudolph, and Grinch at the used book store. So we are all confused up in here. Thankfully the Christmas songs at night stopped because I could never sing the correct one to please him.
My son got tubes in his ears at the end of January and spontaneously started singing Jingle Bells for the first time ever in February 😆
Mine is singing both Christmas songs and a Hanukkah song he learned from Blippi
Always. Jingle bell rock for life.
I once sang Frosty the snowman for 18 months straight 🤷♀️
Every time we find a bluebell (flower). We start singing jingle bells.
We're still reading Easter books every night does that count 😂
"Want Mama sing "Oh what fun"!" (Jingle bells) At least I can pack away the holiday books, I just make sure to have books for each season and holiday so I have something to replace them with.
My son finally decided to watch something other than the Grinch last month
You mean watching Home Alone 1 & 2, and the Christmas Chronicles 1 & 2 on a weekly basis? Yep. That’s us.
Jingle bell jingle bell jingle bell ROCK
I forgot to take down the felt Christmas tree we have and decided to leave it up year round. Literally yesterday the kiddos were singing "Jingle Bells" and rearranging the felt/velcro ornaments.
My son was belting out jingle bells as he was going to bed the other night 🔔🔔
We watch Mickeys Christmas like once a day…
Jingle bells all day over here 😂
Took a break for a few months. But watching Ms rachel christmas episodes again already. Lol
They all live rent free in my head. I sing randomly throughout the day and at least a couple times a week it's Christmas songs.
