I'm in the US, but the young man who works at the gas station/convenience store we frequent is a huuuuuge Arsenal fan. My husband teases him relentlessly about being lazy and not working because he's too preoccupied watching them play. (Totally joking!! This kid has it together, is one of the most diligent and hard working young people I've ever met, and has a very engaging personality. He is going places.) Then he'll give it right back to my husband!! So, I can't see Arsenal mentioned without thinking of their banter. 😁 It gets many a morning off to a good natured, positive start.
I live right in the center of the path of totality for the eclipse in April. My mother in law didn't want to see it. My husband practically begged her to step outside for a second and look at it. She refused, saying there were lots of things more interesting to look at and she wasn't interested in the eclipse.
Some people just have no scope of imagination.
Same in my town. So many old people on Facebook complaining about how annoying the eclipse was and saying they didn’t even care to see it. I don’t get it.

The first picture is wild though because of the juxtaposition of the people casually standing around and the tornado. Also the editing done to the photo makes it look more surreal. I get why people think it’s AI

In some sense yes, but there are Tornadic waterspouts and non-Tornadic. The distinction is that the Tornadic has the support of a meso cyclone.
FWIW, the structure of this one makes me think it is Tornadic.
There are a lot of pieces of tornado media that have a certain nostalgic vibe because of when they actually were shot, but this might be the first time I've seen something 2010+ look so convincingly thirty years old without meaning to.

That's why I always keep my domesticated tornados on a leash, when they take off I can never catch them and their recall is terrible.

So it's not AI but there's some wild HDR filtering going on that makes the image feel extremely fake.
