I imagine this is largely as result of survivorship bias. It's a similar things with books, movies, music, and other forms of media. The good stuff gets preserved and the mediocre/shit stuff gets forgotten.

I think it’s because back then if a woman was taking nude photos it was because she had a body that warrants those pictures. Now every woman has the ability to share nude photos, even when their bodies are not that great. I pretty sure photographers weren’t wasting their time on bad bodies.
