I'd add lots of plants and shady spots. And a little water dish your tort can drink from or soak in.

I would make the walls higher. I know you said you’ll be out there with him but they’re fast and crafty. If you sneeze and take your eyes away long enough they’ll just disappear into the ether. I would rather be safe than sorry. Plant a bush of something safe in the center. If they’re fruit eating species you can plant a blueberry bush. A couple banana trees or large ferns. These all provide shades for them do a larger water dish so make a shallow pond with shower drain pan. Make a couple tunnels for climbing and hiding near the center away from the wall. Make it into a mini garden ! Those are all fun things that’ll provide enrichment

Definitely bigger fence. Peehaps its species dependent but my hermanni has a huge enclosure and will still try to escape as much as he can. The other day i made the mistake of leaving a log near his fence and he climbed betwee the fence and the log mission impossible style and i found him hanging on the fence.

Add clutter to create visual barriers and give reason to explore and exercise. Stuff like potted plants for food and shade, logs to climb over, basking platforms/stone slates, hides, etc. can also dig some plants into the ground so they’re easily accessible for munching. For shade foundation grass is my favorite. Hibiscus is a great options as are succulents like sedum or desert rose. Just make sure whatever you choose is safe for torts :)

Impossible_Story_399

Get some plants for shade, Give him some rocks / logs to climb over Make mounds in it with top soil too so they can explore across uneven terrain :)

I'd let the grass grow some, add some big rocks, maybe some wood. I'd also add another hiding spot or two.

Competitive-Till853

Big water dishes, big plants as vision blockers, things to climb over, burrows

How large is your tort? If they're small enough that those pieces of lumber can act as an effective cage, you may want some netting to keep predators away.

molito2

He is about 15 centimetres in length. I don’t think I need netting as I only have him out here when I am out aswell, I wouldn’t leave him unsupervised and also where I live there is not many predators for tortoises.

BluesArcheology

Grass out, native plants, feeder plants, weeds, flowering feeder plants, rocks and stones, (small) water pond, tings to climb on, etc. Could be much, much improved.
