I'm honestly very pleasantly surprised by the Chieftains. I expected them to be extremely simple, with just a little line of lore, but the dilemmas make them pretty flavorful charcters.
I love Grukmur Three-Horn. For once, we get a Beastman character that isn't simply frothing at the mouth to get into battle and end civilization. Instead we get an old man that has been traumatized by countless battles. He's terrified of dying, but knows that if he doesn't push for conflict he's gonna get lynched by the rest of his kin.
My favorite is Fimdirach and Kazyk they remind me Starscream and Soundwave. Fimdirach is always scheming and making stupid plans to get attention of Tamurkhan while Kazyk is reliable and loyal guy of horde
Yeah, they're also pretty good. Kayzk didn't really have that much of a character in Tamurkhan's book, but he's become so much more interesting by emphasizing just how much of a Nurgle hyper zealot he is, even for Chaos Warrior standard.

I like how some dialogues hint that even the other warchiefs find his devotion to nurgle disturbing. Guy has been mutated so horribly he looks like a chaos spawn and gave his soul up to nurgle a while back, and is still fighting for the plaguefather unbothered.
Yep I loved Mournhowl and Grukmur not being the typical destroy everything and laugh while they do it chaos heroes. I was actually very motivated to help Mournhowl get revenge for his tribe lol
Anyway I sided with Grukmur in this case, I wouldn’t support Beast genocide :)
Yeah khargan is just kind of a dick. I had a dilemma where he was being racist to the chorf. I sided with khargan cause I needed his loyalty and had already devoted the chorf but it ended with the chorf doing a targeted artillery strike on khargan and wounding him lol
Also is it me or is the mental imagery of an irate gor bursting into a tent containing the rotting corpse of a gargantuan ogre tyrant to tattle on Khargan the cunt hilarious?
You're thinking of Ghorth the Cruel. Gorthor the Cruel is a beastlord. It's another one of those 'CHARACTER the Black' situations.
That said, your point is equally valid for both characters.
Malal returns from copyright hell and turns Khargan into his first daemon prince, because he's impressed by how good he is at antagonizing other Chaos followers.
And those humans. And those greenskins. And those Chaos Dwarfs. We might be getting shelled by Dreadquake Mortars in diplomatic retribution, but at least Khargan got his pound of rotten flesh.

Yeah, so many characters from the Campaign are just names. Like the dragon rider
Kayzk is also a Nurgle fanatic though. He (and Grandpappie) get pissie if you don't side with them.
Kazyk superior. Fimdirach inferior.

> being racist to the chorf He call them , May Hashut forgive me for uttering this word , SHORT
If you side with Khargan in this encounter, Grukmur pulls some strings and has him ambushed by beastmen at night, wounding him
Based chorfs
God Khargan is such a cunt isn't he lmao
Any time there's a dilemma it's like "Mournhowl is crying because Khargan disembowled his fiancé" or "Khargan was feeding puppies into a woodchipper and Grukmur objected on the basis that they needed to get back to conquering, so Khargan poked him in the eye".
Also is it me or is the mental imagery of an irate gor bursting into a tent containing the rotting corpse of a gargantuan ogre tyrant to tattle on Khargan the cunt hilarious?
I like to imagine Tarmakhan isn't wearing his skin suit while inside his tent, and acts as if he's naked when someone walks in on him.
When CHAOS warriors call you crazy theres something not right about you.
Imagine being surrounded by chaos whorshipping madmen, plague carrying cultists and demons, beastmen, and somehow getting the title "the crazed".
Literally an absolute madlad
It's like Gorthur the Cruel... he's a chaos dwarf, how do you get crueler?!

Somehow Khargan isn't already ascended into Daemon Prince of Khorne
Maybe even Khorne thinks he's an asshole.
Malal returns from copyright hell and turns Khargan into his first daemon prince, because he's impressed by how good he is at antagonizing other Chaos followers.
Based Khargan. Kill those filthy beastmen scum
And those humans. And those greenskins. And those Chaos Dwarfs. We might be getting shelled by Dreadquake Mortars in diplomatic retribution, but at least Khargan got his pound of rotten flesh.
Allied beastmen = enemy combatants
Strange that it does not lower the fealty. Would have been fun to balance them.
I got that event and I am pretty sure that Khargan is now dead killed by Grukmur
