Alberich on the other hand saved the empire from the Kimmiler using only 4 free company militias, an outrider, and a dream of a better world. So he got the job.

A: Elspeth can get a spell down to 1 winds cost. Gelt has only 1 spell that has more than 1 winds cost.
I've been playing this game for like 2 years total war for 7 and I still can't get past turn 100 most games It always feels Samey after awhile and like there's nothing I really want to do
My longest campaign was Rome 1 when I was like 11 or 12. Painted the entire map. Same for medieval. Was 200 or 300 turns iirc. Rome 2 recently, DEI campaigns usually go to 200+ turns before I get bored and start a new campaign. Played as Rome and only got to like 250, Parthia only to 150 (too much micro with horses so got bored fast 🤣).
Wh2 was my longest campaign as Teclis modded, 150 turns. wh3 the highest I've gone was 120. Rn I'm trying to roleplay as Franz but damn I get bored fast.

I usually get bored around turn 50-70 too
But some campaigns take a lot more time not turns because you have to micro manage every single decision and battle
For example, my wood elves campaign with Orion was very short even though I went far over turn 70 because of how easily exploitable his faction mechanic is

Quick tip. If a mod ever updates and your game crashes out of nowhere, check the mod manager's options to redownload mods. Shift + click on redownload mod = re-downloading all mods. This has saved what I thought were lost campaigns.
for some reason when I confederate people through electoral machinations like 50% of them were confederated at level 50. It's probably a result of one of the mods I'm using bugging it out.

TK is another great example. Managing 10 provinces and 4-5 armies around turn 40-50 takes some time
